Yeah I've seen you around. I used to be overly active on here averaging 12 or so games at once that I was playing in.

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Hey folks > been a wild few days.
Finishing up school leading into spring break, working frantically to get ready for a show, and then all day today. But it's been a good weekend.
Haven't forgotten about you > and I have all week this week to catch up on posts.
Will be updating threads tomorrow.
I appreciate your patience.

I'm sure we all will say RL first I mean after all is that not the point of PbP?

Indeed, and furthermore, I don't think PbP players are among the more impatient people

Hey folks,
I wanted to play a druid but the rolls haven't helped. I'm wondering if playing just a cleric of a nature deity, but I know there's a cleric already, so, what do you think the group needs right now? I'll gladly play that.
If it's the same for you, then I'll go for that cleric. Another healer can't hurt

I'm not sure about Mag's class, but we have two clerics an no wizards as far as I know.

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Well, Razillin is a Cleric of Gond.
We also have a Paladin of Ilmater.
Vesper is a thief.
Kol is a Barbarian (I believe)
Moan is a Ranger
Mag (nobody knows what class except the DM and Player)
More than one cleric never hurts.

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
In my opinion, we should have one of each role. We are perfectly equipped with fighter types.

Not a secret since we all know each other at the start - Mag is a F/MU

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
I wasn't aware as the only place we have characters listed it didn't say when I was looking to inform what classes were there I did figure fighter at least based on the recent attack action.
certainly but at times more than one is beneficial esp when one fails something or runs out of healing. Typically specialist clerics like Razillin have slightly different spell limits or options. But I am not sure if we are subject to those in this game. If so I may have to revise his spells.

Whatever you want to play is best. If you like playing Clerics go for it.

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Then cleric it is
Thanks for your comments.
Since this is 1e, I venture there's no specialist clerics like in 2e. But maybe Hedgeknight has his/her own views/rulings on this. I actually want to play a cleric of a nature god (see Mielikki).

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
This says that Mielikki has Cleric, Druid, and Ranger followers.

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Yeah, but I prefer the DM to make that call.
Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Agreed, just pointing it out since it never hurts to help the DM out some.

Also, since it's PbP, the DM making the call might take days.

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Too True Lance.
Honestly, I did the same thing with my Cleric I listed a few deities I would like to have him be of and Gond was essentially the one the DM approved more or less. That I mentioned.
What about Chauntea? That is another nature deity. I actually had a character in a game that was a Ranger of Chauntea.
