OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
I would not mind us all knowing each other. I'd vote that way.

I do not mind us all knowing one another either. Count my vote as that.

I would prefer that as well.

I also prefer us knowing each other beforehand. I guess we won the vote.

I totally missed that we had a new topic no notifications because I hadn't subscribed to it sorry I so would've posted in it before today if I was paying better attention!

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Did we come to Red Larch with a purpose or perhaps we are all we all just looking for adventure?

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
Hey folks > happy Saturday!
For some it's snowing, for others the sun is shining, and here at the beach we have gusty winds (40+ mph) and rain...with temps dropping tonight into the high 20's. Weird ass weather!! My parents in Virginia have at least 7" of snow with more coming. I love March weather!
I'm working on a lengthy group "kickoff" post for this game. So glad to see everyone checking in. As for why you are in Red Larch...I can offer a couple of suggestions or leave that up to you. Since your characters arrived separately, perhaps all of you left Waterdeep with various messages to deliver to Thornhold, or Beliard, or Westbridge, or somewhere else along the Sword Coast or in the Dessarin Valley. Perhaps you agreed to meet up in Red Larch at the Swinging Sword Inn, a popular stop for adventurers. Maybe to wait out the next couple of weeks of snow and and bad weather before heading off on your next adventure.
But, for whatever reason, here you are in Red Larch.

Plus, I'm sipping bourbon and listening to Mastodon's new album. So freaking awesome!

Re: OOC 1 - Clacking and Talk-Smacking Zone
I'm biding my time until I have to take my wife to work and watching it snow.
That aside I am thinking oddly enough of our reason being sort of like one of the Dragon Lance books. We all had other seperate business and went our own ways and said in a year or some sort of time to all meet up at this location and catch up. Anyone against that idea?

Sounds like as good a reason as any. It gives me a good reason for Moan to have been wandering the North for the past year.

That works for me, a paladin's business rarely aligns with others' outside the clergy.

Our conversations have been a bit scattered, but are we not doing this?

If you'd rather not, I just thought of a way I can work my character in.
