Leaving the Adventurer's Guild you travel south on Dock Street past Temple Road and continue south toward the Slum District. Vesper and Draven have been there before...after their last carouse...and know it to be called the Slum District for a reason.
However, you don't go that far this time as you see a sign above a three story building proclaiming it to be Waters of Delight Bathhouse on the east side of the street. You can't help but notice the building directly across the street from the bathhouse is a small monastery. Anyone with a religious background can look at the symbols above its door to discover who the monks here venerate.
Your aim, though, is the bathhouse and you step inside and are greeted by a large woman who introduces herself as Lois and says waving her hand in front of her face, "I can tell you want a bath. We have other services to offer, but I think first and foremost it is a bath you seek, am I right?"
"For members of your exalted Guild the fee for a full bath is only 2 silver pieces. Food, drink, and entertainment is, of course, extra." she tells you as she collects money from you and calls for a young man to lead you back deeper into the building.
A bath here is something of an event. You are lead to changing rooms where you are helped to disrobe by polite young men and women who take your clothing away to be cleaned. Wrapped in warm clean towels and wearing fiber slippers you are lead into a room with a large pool of water above which vapors are curling upward. There are steps down into the pool and you find it deep enough to rise above a man's head, but with stone benches under the water where those of various sizes can sit. The water is warm, but not hot, and smells slightly of Sulphur as you step down into it and lower yourselves.
You may stay here for some time, but when you decide you have had enough, you are lead to another much hotter room, where another pool awaits. The water here is quite hot and benches around it are swathed in curling steam. There are a few people here, seated on the benches steaming themselves and a few more lying languidly in the hot water almost hidden by the steam rising from it. It is fairly quiet here in this communal bath, people relax and rest here, not really socialize.
After you have soaked to your heart's content you next move to another room. The cold here is something of a shock coming from the hot and steaming room you were just in. There are several smaller pools in this room where you step up and then down into the water. It is cold! You probably won't stay here long, but if you can stand the rapid change in temperature you will find you are invigorated as you leave the cold pool.
Lastly, you are taken to another room. This room is warm and it smells of flowers and fresh grass. You don't see grass, but there are bouquets of flowers scattered around as well as green plants. The ceiling of this room is covered in skylights that let in the sunlight. The pool here is very large and there are a number of people already lounging in it. The water is tepid and constantly flowing around the pool moving it over your body as you sink into it. People are chatting and laughing here...this is a place to socialize with neighbors and friends.
Looking around the room you see wooden tables with padded surfaces where people are being massaged and scraped with curved bladed instrument called a strigil. Others are resting on dry divines continuing to chat with those around them or still in the pool.
Attendants move around the pool serving the patrons drinks, food and noting who is buying what so they may be charged when they leave. Occasionally, a patron or two will rise and leave with an Attendant going up stairs to the upper levels of the building. Attendants come back down, but while you are there you don't see any of the patrons that ascended descend this stairs.
The whole experience will take well over an hour, perhaps two. When you are finished you return to the first room where your clothing is waiting for you fresh, clean, and smelling both fresh and clean.
The sun will be setting by the time the members of the Adventurer's Guild leave Waters of Delight Bathhouse.
