OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
In the fine print, the Admins as that you lock any topic that goes over 20 pages. I didn't worry about it too much; it looks like LOTS of forums have longer threads. Sut when we hit 50 pages, I thought maybe I should make a new OOC topic. I didn't want to split it in the middle of combat. So, I am doing that now. I have also started a new thread for after the combat.

{GM}
The map is not completely updated since we are out of combat rounds. Bone Biter is in the minibus, and Headstone has moved to a bench seat. There are two bucket seats in the front and four rows of reinforced bench seats. I won't worry about who is sitting where except if a larger metahuman moves into a bucket seat... for now. When you get back into combat again, I will want seats established.
{GM}
OOC: Welcome to the club. No one is really sure what's wrong with Baby Blue. Headstone took the medkit off, so that eval is not finished. Mostly, the whole thing was a ruse to lure Ace over, but it didn't work. But more is going on because BB had issues. No, BB is not bleeding "all over the place," but she is bleeding... though IC only Pacman has noticed that.

Well, you are supposed to be an established team. Presumably, you have worked together before. I mean, you live together... Except for Cid, of course.

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
Thank you once again, @Tay-Dor for doing the map from my incoherent ramblings and making it look like what I have in mind.
The first map is NOT TO SCALE... but it shows the layout of the Equanimity Estates, the complex where El Cid lives. It shows the road that it sits on...
The second map is of the specific building in which Cid lives. It shows the entrance and exit to the underground parking garage (which are both barred with crossbars). The entry circle, and immediate surroundings. The bushes and flowers around the building are pretty dense. You could crouch down and sort of get hidden -- if you are short. The trees are larger and would offer more coverage.

Note that Cid's building connects to the road that encircles the complex, not the main street road

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
Looking at the map, it appears there are no hiding spots.
The corner of the building also looks very far and undoable to make it in 1 turn. Is it correct that there is nowhere to properly hide or am I looking at the map wrong?
If there isn't a place for anyone to hide, I think we need to call it off. Else he rides up, sees us and kills us all with his turret.

OK, invisible Pacman by the entrance. Others hidden in folliage.
Revs parks at the entrance to the orcs apartment, ready to come back when called.
There is the closer office lot, but that might look more odd, and he might see the van.

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
The flowers beds are more like flower bushes and things...so there should be ample hiding places there. Least that's what Chary and I discussed doing up the map. The other larger things are trees.
The arrows indicate the entrance and exit of the underground parking that requires a keycard to get in or out. You shouldn't need to worry about getting in there.

Ah okay, so we can use those to hide in.
Alright, thanks for clarifying.

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
You can place me as close as possible to Pacman. Assuming he stands at the door, I would guess it is directly next to the stairs at the first available hiding spot.

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
You couldn't take the van into the underground parking garage, but people could also possibly go short way down the road into the parking area. The crossbars would block vehicles, but people could climb over or walk around them.Tay-Dor wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 8:52 am The flowers beds are more like flower bushes and things...so there should be ample hiding places there. Someone could climb a tree... most people never look up...

Yes, one in the way in, and the other is the way out. It's an underground parking garage.

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
ya everyone charachter sheet is posted and id rather not go read them id rather the person tell me in character what they are able to do just as id rather people not know what tears is and isnt able to do unless i tell them. id rather the character sheet be invisable to everyone except your own and to the dm so people cant just get to tell you how to play your character or pick what you can do becasue they can see what you can do.
i also dont plan to go read anyones character sheet to see what they can do. this is also whay the party is made up of 3000 physical adepts instead of being diverse. i didnt read or look at anyones sheet but tears and i wont either. want tears to know what you can do tell her otherwise i will continue to ask what people can do.

Re: OOC2: More Things You Can't Say in Game
But your forgetting that our characters are meant to know each other so they will have some general idea as to what our characters can do.
