Re: OOC III
My poor attempt to get the group to make a decision didn't work so switching to OOC.
I welcome more ideas but will start a poll of sorts on the groups next action. No real rules, feel free to discuss or throw other options out.
1. Follow the river out of the mountains, then south to Tharda hopefully. Biggest risk is Gargun, barbarians, and wyvern. Always a chance of something else of course.
2. Explore the area immediately around the hunting lodge, using it as a safe haven. Not sure why but possible. Similar risks.
3. Remain at the lodge and attempt more invocations, spells and talents to gather more information. Could be combined with other options. Least amount of risk.
4. Recon towards Kiraz to access the situation around it and maybe determine if you can get in. High risk of Gargun, lesser of barbarians. Wyvern and Ivashu probably the same risk.
Once I have an idea I will move it along.

Re: OOC III
Lharzin is good with 1 or 4. The spirits warned her that evil is coming. She leans to 1, to get word to her father. But then again she knows he HAS a key already and never used it and maybe she's mad about that...
As a player, I say 4. A good ol' dungeon delve sounds fun.

Sounds like it's 4

Re: OOC III
Excellent. I will work on getting a post up in the next day or so.
Re: OOC III
shaidar, go ahead and roll 1d100+sb to see if your ritual goes up.shaidar wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 12:24 pm Arngeir
"Will try the runes again, see if they speak this time on what awaits us on our journey."
Once again he asks Ylina for guidance in reading the stones:
(Prayer of Elkyri, 61%)
Percentage: [1d100]=20
Critical success, +50%
Runecraft (60% base + 50%):
Percentage: [1d100]=38
A MS.
I will work on what your stones say.
Re: OOC III
Percentage: [1d100]=64
ah well.
ah well.
Re: OOC III
That goes up. You get to add your SB, which is 14 and your ML is currently 71. So 64+14=78 which is greater than 71, so your ML goes up 1 to 72.
Re: OOC III
Thanks, I keep forgetting about adding the, SB

Re: OOC III
No problem It is a very different system then most are used to.
Re: OOC III
Sorry about the lack of a post. Been a rough week at work and my wife has been struggling with insomnia for the past couple of weeks. I will get one up later today after I get caught up on some real life stuff.
Re: OOC III
No worries Rex, these things happen. I hope things improve for you soon.

Re: OOC III
No worries Rex. I have been in strange places mentally lately myself so my posting has not been 100% up to par or on time. So I get it.

Re: OOC III
I updated Algrim's Awareness ML on my copy of his sheet. Nice roll.
