{GM} Initiative, Turns, and Passes

In just a short while, we will be entering combat. I will have everyone make initiative rolls at that time. Once I have everyone's rolls, I will post the Initiative Order here, so that everyone knows how goes in what order and on what passes. Given the wide disparity in the PCs' Initiatives, this will likely mean that not every PC will go on every initiative pass.

Please do NOT post your action until you are up in initiative. If you post your PC's action early, I will hold you to it, even if circumstances have changed.

For example: If Joe Bob Runner goes on 6, but his player posts on Sally Sammie's turn on 11, saying he is shooting at Big Bad Bill, and Big Bad Bill may be killed between 11 and 6. However, since Joe Bob Runner's player already posted that he is shooting Big Bad Bill, yes, Joe Bob Runner will waste his action shooting at Big Bad Bill's corpse as it falls to the ground. In a 3-second combat round where some characters may go as many as 4 times, there is bound to be some confusion, so mistakes happen.

How do you avoid wasting your turn like Joe Bob Runner did in the example? Follow the procedure. Wait until I ask for your character to post on your iggie.

I ask that NO ONE beside myself posts in this thread. Roll your dice in OOC as normal. This thread is just for me to post iggies, rounds, turns, etc.
