Bone Biter calls out his warning to El Cid and trots back toward the minibus..

Ace says, “I’ve got biz. Cid, get in or stay here.” The lights on Ace's van come on, and the engine starts.

He thinks back at the split decision he had where Ace’s vehicle was within range. Knowing with his speed advantage, he would have been able to cut open a hole in the window with his specialized glass cutter. Allowing him to open up the vehicle from the inside to avoid getting electrocuted. So that by the time the others arrived, the door would be open and they would simultaneously be able to take Ace down.
Luckily, his decision to save BB instead really paid off and he is fully on board with her plan.
Being a very bad actor himself and having no skill in begging nor groveling, he knows everyone would see right through him. So he makes room for someone better equipped to handle BB’s plan and moves to the passenger seat next to Revs.

He reloads his weapon after taking his seat. Only slightly opens the door in case he needs to get out for any reason.

Headstone runs images of ‘what if’ in his mind as he changes his seat and swaps out his clip.

Ace reaches over and opens the passenger side door from the inside, pushing it open wide enough to make it obvious the door is both open and safe. “Get in, Cid. You have 3 seconds,” he says, struggling against the urge to just press the gas pedal and peel out of here. Remember you are faster than he is, the wired runner repeats silently to himself as he waits for the troll who seems to be moving at the speed of molasses in winter.

Headstone makes himself comfortable. He puts away the slivergun and checks the glove compartment. He might get lucky with someone having forgotten a pack of smokes in there. If there are any, he will light one and offer Revs one as well.

Headstone opens the glove compartment and is sorely disappointed that Slim Jim has not left any highly valuable illegal contraband in the glow compartment for him to enjoy. In fact, the glove compartment is completely empty except for a single knowsoft chip – the owner’s manual for the minibus.

The turret on Ace's van retracts back into its concealed position. He drums his fingers on the steering wheel impatiently. I’m jazzed up; Cid's not dawdling. I’m wired. He’s not. Damn, Cid, move your hoop! Runs through Ace’s mind as he remains poised for action.

OOC: Sorry, Headstone. Slim Jim cleans all valuables from the vehicles she... acquires before stripping them for parts... Remember, cigarettes are illegal... so they are valuable... Just like alcohol was during Prohibition in the United States.

OOC2: Ace performs a Free Action. He presses the button to retract the turret. Normally, that would be a Free Action, but since he has already used his, it becomes a Simple Action. He is holding another Free Action (using his second Second Action for Phase 4.)

Biting back the urge to once again tell Cid to hurry, Ace instead turns on the external speaker for his van to be certain his attackers can hear him. “Me lettin’ ya go ’live ’n whole after ya ’ttacked me… Keep it on the d/l. Bad fer my rep, neh. I hear talk ’bout it, I fix my mistake, slot me?”

’’Seems even the great mess up. I would have killed everyone and been right to do so.’’ Headstone shrugs mumbling to himself in response to Ace before turning to Revs

Headstone remains seated in the front passenger bucket seat, mutters to himself, and talks to Revs.

El Cid quickly types a text into his wrist phone to the team as he angrily walks back to the Passenger side of Ace's van.

- He's driving me home. You know where. Possible second try? -

He then gets into the van and gives Ace a grumpy look. "Clearly after me. That one chick tried to hit me."

Cid sends his text, climbs into the front passenger seat of Ace’s van, and gripes to Ace.

Once Cid is safely in the vehicle, Ace simply hits the button to reactivate the security system. In its electronic voice, it says, “This vehicle is secure.”

Baby Blue's eyes follow Headstone as he gets into the front seat. Her eyes flick between Pacman and Tears, and she says something to them.

She lays back on the bench(?), and stares blankly up at the ceiling.

OOC: I think that Headstone placed BB on one of the bench seats. From the map, I think it's the first bench, right behind the two buckets as that was the easiest to reach from the open right side door.

Bone sprints to the van and quickly gets into the van and closes the door behind him. Bone says, "Slot that went sideways!"

Bone Biter dashes for the minibus and climbs in, closing the right side sliding door once he’s inside.

Once Bone Biter is inside,

Basically its when everyone is in the van.

Assuming that Bone Biter uses his go to get in the van, I was going to use the declared free action at the end of this go to call out "Close the doors" and then intervene with the delayed action of leaving before Tears gets her go....[/dialog] Then he was going to exit the parking lot and turn in the direction away from El-Cids before asking everyone where we are going to Cids or going home.

Revs pulls out at a sedate pace and turns right to go to the corner of the main street while the rear door of the minibus is still open, hoping one of his teammates will close it. Once the light at the corner changes, he signals for a left turn and heads that direction, asking, "Are we going to Cid's place or going home?"

The moment the minibus pulls onto the street, Ace starts up his van and drives out of the parking lot, turning left to go the opposite direction as the minibus. He then takes a right at the next corner and goes out of sight.

Just as the light turns green and Revs starts to make his turn, the medkit speaks in a synthetic voice, “Patient exhibits a racing, irregular heartbeat, shallow, irregular breathing, sweating. Patient appears to be conscious. Please have the patient the following questions. If the patient is unwilling or unable to answer the questions, the operator may do so, but please advise the system that the answers are second hand. 1) Is the patient experiencing any chest pain or pressure? If so, please describe the pain. 2) Is the patient experiencing nausea or vomiting? 3) Is the patient experiencing lightheadedness or dizziness? If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes,’ please tell how long these systems have persisted.”
