It's 100 gold in the original adventure. *Probably* should have made it 1 gold, rather than 10. I accounted for the change to the silver standard, but not for the 10x less XP required to level up.

Ah well. If it's not enough to tickle the greed, it's not a very interesting proposal now is it?

On the one hand, I'm happy to see that nobody's guts are getting splattered across the caverns (barring of course PC stupidity...).

Quick note. While helping Chary build her character, I've gone ahead and added another house rule for Thief skills. None of this affects anyone else *yet* but it will once you unlock your next skill point. You can find the rule under Thief skills: viewtopic.php?p=704166#p704166

Basically, I allow players to use their Skill points to bump up a Thief skill, *but* they first have to actually *have* thief skills. Second, your first 4 skill points must be spent on Skills. However, any bonus skill points from intelligence, and new Skill points you receive on level up can be spent to bump up a thief skill of your choice by 1.

I was initially resistant to the idea of mixing the two, but then I decided that skill points are infrequent enough that it isn't really going to affect game balance any, and it allows players with thief skills to customize a bit. It also gives characters with thief skills a reason to make their character highly intelligent.

Quick question here. It doesn't really impact anything, just want to make sure we're all on the same page. Is this Corvin being coy? The Seer is currently in a coma due to his severe wounds, this is well known and not something Corvin is liable to forget. For one thing, it was mentioned in Princess Flora's speech from the recruitment thread (but that was almost a year ago, and hasn't really been relevant).

Yeah, he's being coy. Not lying, but being evasive. She's obviously fishing for information about the state of things and he doesn't want to volunteer too much. Of course it's a fine line to walk.

Also, I've added a couple of posts to Kinslayer NPC's:

The first is an incomplete description of the Ten Heroes. I haven't fully defined them yet, though I have solid idea for three of them. I'll fill out that post more over time as the Heroes become relevant and/or ideas occur to me. Note that for those who haven't been mentioned in-universe yet, they are a work in progress. Names in particular may shift.

The other is a brief description of each of the Kinslayer's lieutenants and what is common knowledge about them. Obviously, Princess Flora and company may know more than what's listed here!
