Let's have Donovan try for the public supplier, Karsci black-market and Sigrun private. I think that puts a rough-and-tumble face on the crew. Zaki can work on restocking.

I would double jump if we go rim ward or trailing. If we go trailing we are largely committed to the main but might have chances to find it psionic's Institute. Also more traffic in which to hide

You can play some out if you want, and normally I'd go that route, but I don't know how much I feel like doing right now. Anyway, here are some rolls:

Donovan looking for a public supplier 6+: [2d6+3]=7+3=10 Success!

Karsci looking for a black market supplier 6+: [2d6+1]=10+1=11 Success!

Sigrun looking for a private supplier 8+: [2d6-3]=5-3=2 Failure!

Donovan works with the local brokers, comes up with 3 possible cargos you can purchase and negotiates the best price he can:

1. Textiles: 45 tons; Cr3,300 per ton (above market, but looks like quality)
2. Aluminum: 230 tons; Cr900 per ton (a little less than market)
3. Grav Carrier: 1 vehicle; Cr900,000 each (a little less than market)

Karsci has a few drinks with Twiggy Shortjump, a fixer and shady broker, and works out deals for 2 possible cargos:

1. Mechanical Parts: 10 tons; Cr77,000 per ton (a bit over priced)
2. Fast Drug (boxes of 1 week dermal patches, 50,000 patches per ton): 5 tons; Cr50,000 per ton (a really good deal!!! really?)

OOC: Remember you can buy any amount of a speculative cargo from 1 ton up to the full amount on offer. Freight you have to take entire consignments and can't split them.

Flighty won’t disagree. If they get screwed, he might suggest coming back to make an example of the seller, though.

Heading to 'The Dive Bar' and finding Twiggy, Karcsi buys a tray of drinks.

Sitting down. "Twigs, my man, have a drink."

He grabs one and raises his glass to those at the table.

"Might need some first aid, but we need to go where the medical gear is, can we do that? After the drink of course."

Zaki collects her chemical analyzer and goes with Donovan.

Donovan will stand a round of drinks for the bar to celebrate. He nods to Karsci and Zaki as they head out to check the drug shipment. He pulls flighty in. "Do we want to try to take middle or low passengers. If we are going to go to Phlume I can start looking around."

Donovan nods to Flighty and Zaki and then heads off with Zaki and Karsci to check the quality of the fast drugs.

Twiggy snorts, "Okay, that's fine by me. I told you it was good. Name brand, the real stuff, but sort of gray market. Maybe fell off the back of a cargo loader somewhere or other on the way here. That's why the good price."

He looks at Zaki's analyzer, "Don't mind you checking, though. I call a spade a spade and if this was a knockoff, I'd have told you."

Twiggy takes you down to a storage area deep in the bowels of Jackson Hole and unlocks the security door. Inside are a number of cartons.

"Over here." he says walking to a group of boxes, "See Schunamann und Sohn, AG LIC, right there on the crates and on the boxes inside, too. It's the real stuff. As long as they're the real thing, don't nobody care where how they came to be here, right?"

Zaki's tests do show it to be just as Twiggy said, boxes of 1 week dermal patches each containing Fast Drug. Digging through the crates, Zaki notes that about a quarter of the boxes have "best used by dates of 1088" with the rest having dates in the 1090's. Seeing as it is 1086 now, even the oldest are still within their use by date and they'd still probably still be good for years after that...although perhaps with shorter durations.

"This satisfy you?" he asks after you've run tests, "I don't cheat clients, it's bad for business and with my clients it'd be bad for my health, too."

She will arrive in due course and introduce herself to Twiggy "Kapiten Sigrún Volsung. We will take all your stock but are involved in the... you say... "realization" já? ... of certain items of salvage with other factors. You are welcome to view the contents of my ship's hold I will take you myself - there is enough there to secure the deal".

"Do you have any similar SuSAG factory grade products available for sale in individual doses? I am also interested in... niche market firearms and ammunition..."
