I'm not quite ready to give up on this but taxes are due next week and we've had Easter and another event this weekend, so it may be next week before I can post an update...

Could we do a thread with PC's and NPC in it. It would make planning stuff like marching order and watches easier. Thanks.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I've never run low level parties with just a few PCs. Back in college we usually had 6+ players (and then 1 or 2 NPCs). With a larger group, you can form a circle with the spell casters in the middle so they don't get engaged.

hmmm, maybe we should have had a fighter PC and a spelly PC each so the group is larger.

If you're up for two characters that would be fine. That would make the group 6 characters (assuming we keep the two NPCs - otherwise additional PCs aren't helping the numbers...) which makes it easier to shield the casters.

I can also adjust the encounters. The Cold Iron Samurai Adventures campaign has been running fine with 3 PCs (and no NPCs), but while their first fight was also a several goblins fight, the setup allowed them to reduce numbers with missile fire, and then they fought a demon and now are dueling a tengu.

Honestly I hadn't considered how much trouble 6 2nd level goblins could cause...They've had unusually good luck...

Just checking in on the status of this (and your other game).

Can you please let me know if these are still meant to be active, or if they should be archived until you're in a better position to maintain them?

I think the reality at this point is that I just don't have the time to keep these running at any sort of reasonable pace. Let's archive this one.

I'm sorry to leave this one on the edge, actually a tiny bit of my foot dragging on this one is what looks like an impending TPK...

I may revive this again at some point.

In the meantime, if Cold Iron is of interest, seek me out at the RPG Pub or on my discord (did I invite everyone?). I'm actually working on making a full Cold Iron RPG that could be published. We'll see how it goes depending on if I can get license from the original designer.
