Finishing his phone call he continues his stroll through the junkyard until he ends back at his bike.
Unless anything else peaks his interest, he'll wait for Revs to return.

"OK, sounds simple enough. If it's too heavy for us we can always get my lift to help."

“That ain’t an option,” Jimmie says. “Three people tryin’ ta work in the minivan? It just don’t work. Believe me, me ’n the kids tried when they’s younger ’n not really able ta hold up their end. But the tight quarters is more a a problem than the weight. We ain’t gotta go far.”

Jimmie leads Revs to a set of large shelving near the minivan where the seat sits just above the mechanic’s hip height. “When we lift this up, I’m gonna go in first, walkin’ backward. I know every step a this garage, so no arguin’ ’bout that.Unless, a course, yer worried ’bout the extra weight. The one on bottom always gets the brunt ’til they gets in.”

Headstone spots a few items here and there that he could use to upgrade his bike. Maybe, once they get back from this job, and he has some nuyen in hand, he could come back and see if Jimmie would give him a deal.

Revs and Jimmy are still working on the minivan when Headstone gets back.

Most people would make a mental note of the items they saw, but Headstone knows better with his old malfunctioning brain. He proceeds to start fiddling with his secretary.
’’Pandora or BB’ll figure out where these damn pics are hidin’ later’’ as he finally locates the camera function on his device.

Jimmie chuckles. “Do ya wanna go backward then and let me takes the bottom?” the wiry woman asks. “The manueverin’s trickier then, but it ain’t so much weight.” She thinks for a moment. “Tell ya what. Let’s just lift it ’n then ya can see fer yerself ’zactly what it weighs ’fore ya decides.”

The mechanic waits just a second before going on. “On three then… remember ta lifts with yer legs’n not yer back. That’s the trick a it.” She pauses again before saying. “On three. One… Two… Three…” She lifts her end with surprising ease.

Revs grunts at the weight. "OK, I got it, just don't go too fast."

Jimmie laughs. “I weren’t plannin’ on runnin’ the 50-meter dash backwards, Revs,” she says as she starts slowly backing towards the minibus. The walk there isn’t too bad. Once the two of them reach the rear doors, Jimmie nods.

“’Kay, this’s the hard part.” And she’s not lying. As she steps up into the minivan, most of the weight of the bench rests with Revs for just a second. His arms tremble and his knees threaten to buckle, but he hangs on. Though his muscles scream at the abuse, he manages to get the seat level.

“Can ya get in holdin’ it, Revs,” Jimmie asks as she listens to him grunt and groan. “’R’d ya just wanna slide it the rest a the way in. Might scratch the floorin’ about, but it ain’t gonna mess with nothin’ struct’ral.”

Determined to defend his young masculine pride, Revs takes a deep breath and attempts to step up into the minivan holding the bench.

What's the worst that can happen

Revs starts to lift the bench higher and move inward to step into the minibus while still holding it up. The strain is too great, and his hands begin to slip. Jimmy tries to compensate, but gravity wins out and the bench begins to fall.

“Watch out!” Jimmy warns.

Her warning is just a fraction too late. Revs tries to jump out of the way, but the bench’s momentum is too great. His quick leap is enough that its metal rains merely scrape down his left side rather than the whole bench knocking him down and landing on him. Still, pain shoots through his left side shoulder to shin as a bit of metal cuts through his clothing and into his flesh. The gash isn’t deep. Neither is a paper cut. But it stings like Hades.

Jimmie looks on, shaking her head. “Ya alright, Revs? Do I need ta get the kit?"

"Drek!" Revs grimaces, angry at himself "Sorry Jimmie, that was really stupid of me. It's cut me, but I don't think it too bad." he looks down at the floor, embarrassed.

[Juramenta]

If the bench dropping on the ground can be heard, he will react to it. If not, he will chill at his bike until Revs shows up. He's not in a hurry and will give him all the time he needs

“Boys,” Jimmie says, shaking her head. “Ghost, I’m glad all a mine were girls born with brains in their heads rather ’n…” She hops out of the back to take a look. Taking a quick glance, she shakes her head again. “It ain’t too deep ’n it’s too far from yer heart ta kill ya,” she says. “But let me get the kid anyway. That bench ain’t ’zactly sterile ’n I’d hate fer ya ta get tetanus ’r nothin’ like that.”

The mechanic doesn’t wait for an answer; she just walks to the back of the center garage and starts rooting through a cabinet.

Revs takes his t-shirt off to take a proper look.

As Headstone gets back to his bike and starts fiddling with his phone, trying to find the images he just took. He hears a large thud from inside the garage. One that’s loud enough to be heard outside, even through closed doors.

The gash is long and ugly. It’s ragged line tears down his left arm, part of his left torso, and down his left leg. The cut is not especially deep, but it is bleeding.

As Revs gets his shirt off and starts taking a look, Jimmie returns with the medkit. She takes out an antiseptic and some clean gauze. “I ain’t gonna lie ta ya, Revs,” she says. “This is gonna sting more’n a little. But ya doesn’t want it gettin’ infected.”

Revs nods "It's OK, it'll teach me to be more careful."

Looks up as he hears the loud thud.
He types out a message to Revs on his secretary.
-Everything alright in there, chummer? Heard some noise. I'm nearby if you need me to charge in- he sends but does not act on it further.
Instead he remains where he is as he waits for a reply.

Jimmie chuckles. “Just what I tell my girls when they’s been foolish.” She begins cleaning the wound. Despite her rough talk, though, Jimmie has very gentle hands. The antiseptic makes the wound burn, but Jimmie causes no extra pain with her cleaning.

As she is cleaning the wound, Revs gets a message received indicator on his phone.

“The leg needs cleaned, too,” Jimmie says. “I can do it if ya wants. No need fer fuss. I’m old ’nuff ta have seen it all ’fore. But, if ya’s too embarrassed ta drop yer drawers fer me ta do it, there’s a bathroom behind the main counter in the office.”

"That's fine. It's a good job I put on clean underwear this morning, like mom always said I should."

Revs notices the message light on his phone "Hold on, let me check this." he checks his messages and sends Headstone a reply -It's all good, I just dropped something-. Once done he looks at Jimmie "OK, ready when you are."
