The Realm



The area of the world shown on this map comprises a small part of this vast plane, which is as large as 10 planet Earths. Cities, towns and other points of interest are taken from classic sword & sorcery literature and D&D, or are nods to such. Several campaigns are played in the Realms:
- The Keep on the Borderlands to the north;
- War is Hell: The Palace of the Silver Princess in east-central;
- The Evil That Men Do, the evil counter-campaign to The Palace of the Silver Princess;
- and this, The Assassin's Run, in Lankhmar to the west.

The adventure will take place in that famous city of thieves...

Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser books were a cornerstone influence on Gygax.
