This is pretty disgusting.
I will admit, I have dabbled with AI for brainstorming purposes only when it comes to D&D, and even that makes me feel guilty on occasion as, where is AI getting its information from? Maybe that machine learning did just copy the work from someone else and regurgitate it verbatim in the results it displayed for me?
No idea? But it's not something I lose sleep over as I never use what AI as presented. I cultivate ideas from it -- nothing more.
This clearly appears to be outright theft.
And, to think, I actually had the 3orcs YouTube channel liked.
Unsubscribed.

I saw this, it looks pretty bad to me. Very sad really.

Even his (StylinLP) public apologies were... disingenuous, and downplayed the extent of his intention.
Especially when you factor in the original author's (JoB) response:
This clearly isn't the first time this has happened, but the first time I caught onto something this blatant.
Just bad.
And sad.

It looks very poor and not in good faith. My initial thoughts were the plagiarist hoped his theft of another's ideas might not be uncovered and he could profit from it.
Not sure how any legal angle goes. But the apology looks weak and insincere. In my view some financial recompense should be made.
But it does throw up questions regarding 'ownership' if I put my ideas onto a public forum and they get published by another at a later stage.

See in cases like this, there's no good outcome. So just take the "L", take all the blame. Don't try the "I was wrong, but he..." tact. People never learn.
I feel for JoB for sure.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Me as well, and this David person needs his ass kicked.
