It's a miracle they're still around after all these years. Mainly because they were stored at my parents' house during all of my moves over the years.
What was amazing was that Marvel's editor/story writer Roy Thomas decided for the series to run in real time paralleling Conan's life. So if it took Conan 25 years from being a teenager in the slave pits of Hyperborea to the throne of Aquilonia, Marvel would take 25 years to do the series. Thomas would fill in original stories between bookend R.E.H. tales. When I started reading around 1975, Conan was a condotierri around Nemedia maybe. Then I think he was a pirate in the Vilayet sea for a few months. Then he moved on to hanging out with Belit from the "Queen of the Black Coast" story. By then it was 1977.
