Making Connections
You can make connections with your characters per page 17. You don't have to limit the number of connections to 2, but any found after the second don't gain you a skill.
n.b. Any skill taken can't be Jack-of-all-Trades and cannot raise your skill level above 3.

Package Skills
With so many, rather than pick from a package list, you'll each get 1 skill at level 1. It may NOT be taken as any skill gained during career generation or through the connections rule above - except it could be a Science, Language or Profession in a different sub-category to one already held.

you may take Vacc Suit 0 AND Agility 0
OR
you can take your future into your hands and allow the GM (me) to assign you a random benefit!
