I had a great time with the RP part, but unfortunately things got a little crazy in RL and I never got much chance to study and learn the game. Leitz set up and described a colorful historical Italy world that I thought really captured the flavor.

I didn't learn Fate well enough to know how it would work with long-term PBP. (I was kind of watching this one to see how a game of Modiphius's Conan might work. It has a similar system of earning, spending and sharing meta points). I think a Fate game maybe could work with a small group of dedicated players. The way my Bushido game (very crunchy 1980s rules) has gone on for two years next month-- with only a GM and two players. :)

Thanks much, Leitz!

Hey guys, thanks! You all played strong, fun characters. The DM has a pool of Fate dice that can be used to Compel players to get "in character", but you never gave me a chance to use them! I enjoyed running this for all of you.
