Richard
I suggest we all follow Master Korin through the western door, Master Tiny.
Let's hope that it leads us out of here so that we can buy you a fine two handed sword befitting your impressive smashing talents.

Eaton
Follows Karin to the door.
Getting out is the mail goal but we have a bone to pick with the evil priest. Hope we find him soon.

Re: Chapter 04: Torpor and tremendum
Richard looks at the tube. Is it a glass test tube?
Or is the tube made from another material?
A metal, perhaps? Or is it made from wood?
Might it be thrown, shatter and spread faerie fire wherever it lands, he ponders?

Korin opens the door and heads through after lighting a torch.

Thorelf joins up with the others through the door.

"I agree with Korin. We've made quite a small fortune here and damaged the foul beings' operations enough to cause them serious harm and in some ways avenge all those who have fallen, or worse, in these halls. I say we try to get out of here while we can. Let's see where this door leads us."

Area 22
The latest coin hoard distributed, the merry group decide to move on, in search of exits, beer, evil priests and two-handed swords.
But not before
Richard
has studied the tube. It is a soft metal skin tube with a screw cork at one end, such as may be used for pastes, salves and other sticky substances - and designed so that its flat end can be rolled up gradually to squeeze the contents out until none is left. It might be used as a weapon, but only by a very strong person in close combat, and at severe non-proficiency dice roll penalties. Or the contents could be squirted at some target if clenched strongly and quickly....both options seem a bit illogical to Richard who concludes that this is probably not a regular weapon, but simply a container for what the label says.
Then, everyone heads for the 'western' door, lead by Korin. He opens up the previously tested door: his torch lights up a short corridor (15' ahead) that soon turns both 'north' and 'south' in a T-crossing.
The corridor is: Area 23
Marching order, those after Korin please ?

Re: Chapter 04: Torpor and tremendum
Korin sticks a finger in his mouth and pulls it out holding it up in the air to feel for any "drafts" before deciding a direction to take. For some reason the dwarf decides to go south. "Dunno why but I like walkin south feels like goin' downhill." he says with a chuckle, holding the torch in front of him as he goes.

Re: Chapter 04: Torpor and tremendum
Richard following Korin, looks at the floor of the south route to see whether he can see any Rhys-Davies-ian downwardly sloping floor.
( Alluding to the fact that the wonderful "going south" is not from the books, but are still in LOTR lore thanks to Rhys-Davies. Also, Richard is checking the floor)
This tube could be useful if we suspect any hidden or invisible creatures ahead. A bit of this salve might make it stand out, roto-scoping its outline as in a green screen, all the easier to see and hit the nefarious foe.
I should test the tube at the first available opportunity.
