Tiny will search the chest it was on top of.

Thorelf will hurry in and close the door to the "table and chairs" room.
Then he will check the chest and also see if there's the same secret compartment in this room as in the one we passed through just earlier.

Did Krooda put a seduction spell on me?
Puts a small handkerchief (The Dossal of Darda) on his head, ostensibly to see if his head still contains the remains of a seduction spell by Krooda.

I am better now, thank you.
*thinking that this reply seems safer than to find out what "setting me straight" might physically entail*

Re: Chapter 04: Torpor and tremendum
While
Korin
checks the statuette for traps (which he can find no trace of),
Tiny
searches the chest the statuette stood on top of, and finds:
- 85 gp
- 83 sp
- an earthen pot
- a cube with swirling colours like the one Eaton found earlier
- 3 torches
- 3 flasks of oil
- a 6 inches long piece of wood carved in the shape of a finger
Inside the smaller room that someone recently rushed through, Thorelf shuts the door at the other end and then looks into the chest on the floor. In it he finds:
- 1 flask of oil
- an earthen pot
There is no secret hatch in the wash stand of this room; however, a stone in the north wall under the wash stand seems loose.
Richard
tries his treasured hanky but it only soaks up some sweat. He realises that he must have been under some spell for a while - be it the spell of love or something else - but whichever way, he is now beginning to feel less agitated and gradually returning to a more level-headed state.
In the pool, splashes can be heard.

Inside the pot,
Tiny
finds a grey powdery substance, which looks like ashes.

Richard
An urn with ashes in it. I wonder who those ashes used to be. Perhaps someone Krooda once loved who rebelled?
I shall pretend that the ashes were me, that I died there, and am now reborn. The idea comes from a warrior I once heard tell another warrior this "Remember that you are already dead. This way, you never need to feel fear again." I was spurned, and will never love again. I am dead, and I shall never fear again.
It is not really sad. Just think of me as Nac Mac Feegle, who knows he is dead, and will therefore fight and drink and go adventuring like there is no tomorrow.

Oh, Tiny be careful with the box with colors. Remember it is dangerous. Better give it to me and I will put it with the other box.

Re: Chapter 04: Torpor and tremendum
Thorelf can hear from the smaller room how Richard is still rambling, but not exactly about what.
He puts the flask of oil in his backpack, could prove useful.
He tries to pry the stone loose, if possible.
"Guys, are you holding up out there?"

Re: Chapter 04: Torpor and tremendum
Confused as I thought we already went through the open door to the north last I knew only Richard was still lingering behind, but I guess I am incorrect?

Tiny hands over the box with colors, "Here you go." and goes to help Thorelf pry the stone loose.

Picks up the staff shaped as a finger (if Tiny did not) and the 3 torches.
