I'm not even sure how to reply to that...

Football > born and raised a Baltimore Colts fan and like most, hated them when they moved to Indy. Jumped back on board the Colts train in the 90's and haven't looked back since. Also like the Redskins, the Packers, and the Broncos. And anyone who is playing the Patriots or Steelers!
For all of you Manning haters...pull my finger :P

Baseball > grew up on Hank Aaron, Carl Yastrzemski, Reggie Jackson, Boog Powell, Jim "Catfish" Hunter, Johnny Bench, etc. Stopped watching baseball several years ago with the baseball strike, but just this year I've been watching some games. Always been a fan of the Detroit Tigers...don't know why.

Hockey > didn't watch a lot growing up, but with the arrival of the Hurricanes in Raleigh, I've been watching some games and even went to a couple. Again, I've always like the Detroit Redwings...and again, not sure why. Really enjoyed the Cup playoffs this year!

Basketball > never really watched the NBA growing up although I caught a few games and pretended I was "Pistol" Pete Marovich when I was on the court. 8-) Wouldn't watch it now if you paid me > don't care for the divas and the drama. College basketball, on the other hand, is pretty exciting.

Soccer > used to watch it alot when my son played, but he's grown out of it and so have I. We have a local semi-pro team but we haven't been to a game this year. I'd rather watch the grass grow than watch soccer on TV.

Other minimally watched sporting events:
Golf > occasionally, but only on Sundays.
Tennis > watched a couple of Wimbledon matches this year; otherwise, meh.
Swimming > love me some Olympic swimming; secret crush on Rebecca Soni (don't tell my wife)

Used to do a lot of hunting and fishing, but not much of either since moving to NC.
Winter is coming...

Your supposed to respond with great applause as Curling is awesome!

Totally spaced on college probably because I avoid college sports like the plague other than to give OSU fans crap here when they lose or their players do something dumb. They have many ways they could make it more of a fair system where every team has a shot but they refuse to because it's all about money which is fine and why I don't watch. NFL football is really the last bastion of a fair playing field where a team in Green Bay Wisconsin is totally even with a team in New York or Chicago.

Golf - Tell me who wins or if Tiger bangs another waitress because that's interesting otherwise I don't care.
Swimming - Something doesn't excite me with swimming laps in a pool just don't do it for me.

I think it's fair to say the winter olympics > summer olympics in my book.

I don't know... maybe so due to the fact that more of the sports are not over exposed. The olympics were awesome when you only saw those events once every 4 years. Now that every skiing race, every track event is televised throughout each year, it doesn't hold the same excitement it once did. Except for sports like curling or archery, biathlon, crew...

All I have to say is....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLlmymHRNZg

I don't see bobsledding at any other time then the olympics. Put another W in the winter column. For the summer they have gymnastics which all I need to see that is a slow day on ESPN2 or any 14 year old girl's summer activities.

I wish I would have seen this thread earlier. It doesn't take long to manage a team after the initial player draft so I'm sure I could have found the time to squeeze in a seventh league for this season (though, not a fan of ESPN or its website). ;)
