Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
That mimic got some badass damage. I thought there was some hope for Tolman right until the skull munch...
That pretty much rules out a raise or a reincarnate, even if we had that kind of money.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
Tolman 2.0 maybe? If you get better rolls could be his relative.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
Here are my rolls. Excellent set for a change. Do you allow dual class monks? A second level Fighter then Monk at first would give him better starting HP at the sacrifice of a level in Monk. I will think some more now that I know his scores and put him together tonight.
Ability Scores [4d6c1] = 15 [4d6c1] = 13 [4d6c1] = 16
Ability Scores [4d6c1] = 15 [4d6c1] = 10 [4d6c1] = 17

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
Maybe or another cleric or something similar. Paladin? Monk? Dual/multi classed something?

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
No on dual class monk.
those roles open up pretty much any class though those are nice.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
Those are really nice! They're decent Monk, Paladin or Ranger stats, or a kick-ass Fighter/Thief or Fighter/M-U after racial bumps. Or a cleric of kicking ass!

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
look over tolmans sheet and just post here what you guys divy up and place it on your sheets. i will add his coin to the treasure total
Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
fyi the only demi human multi class i allow that is not in the PHB is dwarf fighter/cleric. I don't use UA multi class rules
Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
sroem has all the magic user scrolls, hope he doesn't get hit with a fireball and fail a save
BTW the way i work item saves is if you are hit with something like fireball, lightning bolt, dragons breath, and fail a save then your items must save

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
Alright so from Tolman's sheet only a suggestion of things we might consider taking:
Allen or Storm take the Ring of Protection +1
Lantern & Oil
Tinder Box
Rations
Rope
Water Skin
I think the rest could probably be buried with him.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
As Allan is in combat more often than Storm it makes sense if the monk takes the ring of protection i think. Getting his A/C down to a level more in line with the other main combatants seems wise to me, but it’s ultimately up to Allan.
An A/C of 5 would be advantageous, and a +2 bonus to saving throws and arrow deflecting stuff sounds ideal for him.

Phil will add the lantern and oil to his backpack, unless someone else wants to carry.

Re: Unspoken words 2 (OOC)
For clerics
you can't scribe a spell from one scroll to another and clerics do not have spell books.
for magic users.
first you must roll the learn a spell then you must take a number of days equal to the spell level scribing it into your book. once you do scribe it to your book it disapeasr from the scroll
