The formula for initiative is: Quickness+Weapon Initiative Modifier-Encumbrance+1d10 (stress roll)
So it would look like this...

Pole Axe Init Modifier +1 (page 176)
Encumbrance -0
Stress Die roll 1d10 = 10 (Your roll of 10 on a stress die is a possible botch. Roll 1d10 again. If you get anything other than 10 add 0 to your initiative. A result of 10 negates all modifiers and means your initiative total is 0.
