Races of the Land of 1000 Towers:
An Age of Magic has returned to the Earth and with it, 'magical' demi-humans: Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Halflings, Orcs, and their kin.
All PC races in the 1e Player's Handbook are permitted.
No demi-human is older than 900 years of age.
Mutant demi-humans are also available for play:
Ape-Men: Use Half-Orc racial stats. Maximum DEX is 16. No infravision. +30% to climbing rolls. Halve movement when on two feet.
Cat-Men: Use Elf racial stats with Human lifespans. Halve falling damage.
Moks: Use Half-Orc racial stats. No thieves. No infravision. Languages: Mok, plus more as per Intelligence. Base AC is 7 but armor does not stack. Must be Chaotic alignment.
Mole-Men: Use Dwarf racial stats with Human lifespans. Dwarf NPC classes are available to Mole-Man PCs.
Rat-Men: Use Halfling racial stats with Half-Orc lifespans. Add infravision. Lose -2 from CHA.
Robot: Either use 'Robot as Class' version from Patrick Wetmore.
Or Use 'Robot as Race' with these racial stats: +1 STR, +1 CON, -2 CHA. No infravision. PC Robot can only be a Fighter.
For both versions: Must be a Lawful alignment. Languages: Common and Binary, plus more as per Intelligence.
Tiger-Men: Use Half-Orc racial stats, except characteristic modifiers are: +1 STR, -1 CHA. Maximum Dex is 15.
Wolf-Men: Use Half-Orc racial stats, except characteristic modifiers are: +1 STR, -1 CHA. No infravision. Add 3" to movement. May also be a Ranger up to 9th level.
Armor, weapons and gear are available to fit demi-human, mutant, robot or otherwise.
