Found the Core Rule Book at the following website. You can view the whole thing, pull page. Works pretty good too:

Pfft, I bet Hamish is secretly a mean salsa dancer.

Antman, your defense should by 10+your dexterity modifier, not your actual dexterity.

In fact, the rolls you made to get the modifiers don't actually matter anymore, all that matters is the modifiers. So your defense would be 10+1 for a total of 11.

I apologize if that part was not clear. I'm changing the character creation post to reflect that more properly.

The attribute rolls you all made were just to see what your actual scores were, your legitimate attribute score is those modifiers, so Antmans actual dexterity score is 1, instead of 10.

Does that make sense?

MonkeyWrench wrote:Step 1: Choosing your stats!
Each character has 8 stats that are involved in most things you do.
Communication: Characters social skills, personal interactions, as well as their ability to deal with others
Constitution: Characters fortitude and resistance to harm
Cunning: Measure of your characters intelligence. Knowledge, and education
Dexterity: Encompasses agility, hand-eye coordination, and quickness
Magic: Characters innate arcane power
Perception: Covers all the senses and ability to interpret sensory data
Strength: Characters physical prowess
Willpower: Encompasses mental toughness, discipline, and confidence

To get the ratings for each of these stats roll 3D6 for each stat and consult the chart below to see what initial rating you get.

Code: Select all

3D6 Roll -> Starting Ability
3 -2
4 -1
5 -1
6 0
7 0
8 0
9 1
10 1
11 1
12 2
13 2
14 2
15 3
16 3
17 3
18 4
It's in the character creation setup thread, I didn't make a docs for it so I ended up spoiling the code that I made, probably why you didn't find it. Open the spoiler and you'll see the chart.

That's fine if you do, just remember that the initial rolls are only used to get the modifiers, the modifiers are then used for any checks in the game as well as any stat configuration.

We just got a new player!

Once he checks this place out make sure to welcome Beefy!!

And it's hard to recruit people that no nothing of the game lol. I'ts my hope that once they get a load of my amazing Dming skills they'll be clamoring to get a piece of the action!

But I'm perfectly fine with Dming for just you two, now three. 8-) :D

No problem Rhal.

Since you're here and also outside include a perception roll in your post as well!

With Antman being gone for the weekend do we want to pause until he gets back, or assume his character told us he thinks he heard a scream - or something like it?
