It looks like someone took a sledge to the wall from here....that some of the bricks where then piled strongly suggests this.

Haha... touche! Well, wouldn't they get a nerfed ability sort of innately or something?
Anyway, whether they smell anything or not:

The area beyond is 10 x 10....probably once a crypt of some sort. It appears to have been looted long ago.

Assuming Jedak will lend it to him, Daryll will cautiously enter the tomb and poke around the floor and the walls, looking for hollow or loose stones, that sort of thing.

While Daryll is cautiously poking around, a skeleton emerges from the darkness of the southern passage. A large blue jewel glows in the centre of its skull as it rushes out of the shadows! Before anyone knows what is happening, it swings a rsuty and pitted scimitar at Cisneros....rolling a natural "1"! The tang nut falls off, and the blade, no longer firmly held by the grip, slides out, skittering across the hallway and into the room where Daryll is poking about.

Initiative: 16 + 1 = 17.
Grim roars a battle cry and moves to engage the skeleton, swinging his hammer. 17 to hit, 2 + 3 (burning Luck) = 5 damage.
Pikar swings his torch as a club at the skeleton. 1 to hit (d'oh), 4 on fumble ... book says weapon breaks, so I guess the torch comes apart.
Cisneros yelps and swings his staff wildly. 1 to hit (again!), 1 on fumble ... everybody laughs.
Daryll hears the commotion and charges out brandishing his club, and swings at the skeleton if he can get close. 4 + 1 = 5 to hit.

Grim also hits for 5 damage. The pitchfork only does half damage to the un-dead thing, for a total of 9. The skeleton shatters, bones falling to the floor.

Daryll swoops in to pry the gem out of the skull, or probably more likely, use his club to shatter the bone and extract the gem.

Grim will swing his hammer and try to smash as many as he can.

Despite your efforts, the skeleton reforms, the jewel in its skull pulsing brightly as it does so. Even the rusty scimitar comes back to its hand.
