Hmm, thanks you mam. He smiled at Gabby before starting the announcements.

He listens to the crowd, nodding along as the speakers asked questions, and heard Etta and Julia speaking about the insurance. "Whew thats a relief he thought."

Those are all great questions, and I appreciate the interest in what we do here. He paces along the front of the crowd, Ghosts are essentially, a type of energy, it gets complicated from there, for anyone who would like to know more please let me know, I love this stuff. But remember energy cant be destroyed only manipulated. So we cant kill or re-kill a ghost but we can contain them. Think of this, he shoulders his pack off his back and in front of him facing the crowd. as the stick and lasso we use to move a ghost around. It is specially designed to be able to move them around and to briefly hold them until we can get them over a trap, He shoulders the pack and pulls a trap off his belt. This allows us to safely store and transport an entity for a short time, until we get it into a long term storage solution, which we will show you in the tour. He holsters the trap, There is a lot of high energy particle physics that go into it, but the way I told my Mama was its like on the farm, The ghost is the hog, this He motions to the pack Is the persuader, the trap is the travel trailer until we get them in the barn, which is our containment unit downstairs. He scans the crowd to see if he had lost anyone yet, if not it would be a banner occasion.

After a moment to let them try and follow his train of thought, And to put your fears at ease we have all undergone extensive safety training and evaluation. And yes we are fully insured. The whole reason I do this job is to help people so the last thing we want to do is add any danger.

He looks around to Julia, Etta, and the other 'busters Anything I might have missed?

Lionel "Freight Train" Williams

A bit confused by the pig comparison, Lionel nevertheless speaks up when prompted. No, I think that pretty much covers things. Let's get the tour started. If you have any questions during the tour, go ahead and ask. No need to wait 'til th' end. Some pieces of equipment can be very dangerous if used wrong, so please don't touch unless given the ok to do so. Otherwise, I may have to escort you out. He gives the assembled guests a large grin.

Etta pats Jason on the back. "Very apt, honey."

Scooting ahead of the tour group, she pulls Roy aside. "Let's you and I run ahead and station ourselves at the containment unit. You know that's what people will most want to see, and I want extra eyes on it, given this morning."

Roy accidentally fell asleep reading in the library and begins to quietly snore.

Etta dashes around the firehouse until she finds Roy, and shakes him gently away, handing him a tissue to wipe up the drool. "C'mon. We're needed in the basement."

Jason beams at Ettas kind words.

When Lionel mentions the not touching, he nods along. Excellent Point, Lionel

He look out at the group, Upstairs is our living quarters and Library, if there are no objections we can start there and work our way down. He moved twords the tape that Julia had hung earlier, We are still getting settled in so its a bit bare, but we have to start somewhere right. Any one have any objections? As he takes it down and motions to the steps.

Roy wakes with a slight startle "Huh what uh ok basement? What a ghost didn't get out did it?" he asks as he jumps up the book falls to the floor and he grabs it and sets it down on a table, and follows Etta to the basement.

Etta to Roy: "No one's got out, but we're going to keep that machine pinned down with our eyeballs until the tour is over. I can't shake the feeling that there's mischief in the air.

"Oh, that reminds me..."

Etta pulls up her phone and texts the others: Can someone keep an eye on crowd out front? Esp. the Rev.?

As the crowd begins to shuffle and begin talking among themselves Jason feels his phone vibrate and sees Etta's text. Tapping with his thumbs,
Not a bad idea, I have the crowd inside, but Lionel, Mac one of you wanna clap eyes on the street?

The Firehouse
Ribbon Cutting Day
Aug. 9, 2018, 10:30am
Hot, humid, and crowd dispersing outside.

The gathering of folks seem to appreciate the pig analogy as there is a round of chuckles and nods, as does Lionel's quip about keeping their hands off the equipment. Jason seems to be making a good impression. The Mayor pops his cigar back into his mouth and holds his lapels looking very pleased at this explination and the reactions of both his people and the few journalist that made it inside with his group. Absent amoung them was Bur. After a few more general questions were answered, the Mayor steps forward. Suppose we could start with this encarseration area of yours. I hear it is quite a peice of equipment. Very expensive. Now there was a slight break in his infinate cool. He seemed to almost choke on that last word. The memory about him referring to his 'investment' rings in the team's mind again, but there is no real time for that as the group as a whole seems suddenly excited to get the tour underway and see the rest of the station, especially this mysterious place where they kept the ghosts!

While Jason and Lionel manage the crowd up to the living quarters, Etta and Roy are easily able to make their way to the basement and get a good look. It is hard to believe there was such chaos here earlier. Aside from a few things stren about that the ghost was throwing at them, it seems fine. The Contianment unit is humming happily. All readouts seem to be exactly where they should be. All in all, it look like things are okay.

While she and Roy wait protectively in front of the Containment Grid, Etta fires off an email to the GBI regional rep, asking for information on the investors in the Fort Enterprise branch. She shares that disclosure of this information is necessary, as claims of investment can be used to attempt undo influence of the operations of the branch. Further, she would like to see a breakdown of returns: for every dollar brought in, how much goes to individual investors, how much to GBI, and how much goes into the firehouse itself? Lastly, what stakes, other then employment, do the Fort Enterprise Ghostbusters have in the local franchise?

Lionel will help herd the tour group, keeping an eye out for anything unusual, particularly anyone trying to wander off or touching anything without permission from a Ghostbuster.

Roy takes care to watch the equipment while Etta sends the email making sure he doesn't trip or bump anything and release the same ghost for a third time he hums to himself and just keeps an eye on everything.

Of course your honor, Jason tries to honey his words carefully But I thought we could make it the grand finale, the crown jewel of the Ol Fort Ghostbusters, if you will. He smiles warmly at the mayor, and deftly moves that smile to the crowd as they all reach the second, floor. Also, this is a pretty quick little nickle tour, at least up here. He motions to the door to the sleeping quarters, For instance I doubt anyone is interested in inspecting the racks or showers. If you've ever been to camp or a freshman dorm, you are probably familiar with the sights and smells behind those doors.
He is using charm again with his humor and apparently is on it today, tour guide suites him.
Charm: [5d6] = 23 Ghost:[1d6] = 2
He begins to walk backwards down the hallway, slowly just maintaining focus of the attention of the group. Here is our gym to help us keep from getting too soft in the middle, cuz ghosts dont run out of breath. and he sees the office door next to it And one of our offices that I believe will house our director of Physical Fitness, Right Lionel? He calls out to the buster at the back of the group.

And this, is my sanctuary, my domain, the Library. He says as he opens the door and invites the guests inside. The rest of this floor is living space, a kitchen and dining area. We will see those as we head down to the containment area, but are there any questions so far?

Jason continues to handle the crowd like a pro. The Mayor seems very please so far as he follows along, therefore his people seem to be happy as well, especially J.T. who seems to be filling the roll of Yes Man.
The GD GM wrote: [5d6] = 23 Ghost:[1d6] = 2[/url]
Jason, just to let you know, You are shorting yourself. You are supposed to be rolling 3d6 for your Cool but ADDING the 5d6 for your Charm. This means that you should be rolling a total of 8d6. Luckily you are rolling well so far! But remember guys, that your specialty on rolls is always Added to what you already have in that stat.
Jason wrote: ...We will see those as we head down to the containment area, but are there any questions so far?

Now is when the Mayor speaks up again, using his Mayor's voice as he turns to face both the two Ghostbusters and the crowd, seeming to make everyone else his audience as the GM rolls a mad amount of dice for his cool.
Well, this nickel tour is all fine, and you seem to be quite the natural at making mundane things seem very entertaining. Why I have to admit, that if I did not have a guarantee of you not running against me for office, I would consider you stuff competition! There are scattered chuckles, and J.T. laughs loudly and exaggeratedly until Mayor Sanders silences him with a look. I believe I speak for everybody when I say that we are ready to see something more than the introductory tour. Let's move on to where the money is being made. We want to see labs, equipment, and this containment grid of yours. There is a resounding wave of agreement from the crowd.

Lionel is able to see a few people already beginning to look the way they came, and a pair seems intent on breaking away to head back downstairs.

Roll a Hard Moves to intercept them before they get to the stairs.

Roy can see that everything seems to be happily humming along. On closer inspection, he can see that the readout screen clearly shows 1 of 2 ghosts are contained.

Etta GBHQ takes a bit but soon Etta's phone pings showing her inbox has a few messages arriving.

Message 1:
Turns out that OFGB was officially owned...
by Fort Smith White Hat Real Estate, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Investments, Inc. LLC. The shares were divided as such. FSWHREIMI, Inc. LLC 55%. One, Mr. Sandy Sanders, Investor 30%. GBHQ held the remainder at 15%. From what you could tell, all budget and amenities were controlled by the shareholder. This means that all the equipment was owned by the prime investors. Operations were deligated to GBHQ and sub-entities.
Message 2:
The financial breakdown was this:
Total Initial Investment: $1.1mil
FSWHREIMI, Inc. LLC: $605,000
Sandy Sanders, Investor: $33,000
GBHQ & Sub: $165,000

Current limited Rate for Return on Investment had been set at 20%.
Mac I have not heard from RV so I will shoot him a message and hope for the best. For now he is hanging in the background in NPC territory unil I hear otherwise.

Of course, of course. See a bit of a confession I love the library so I wanted to show it off first, but of course we can stop by the lab and see the equipment right now. He moves to the door and extends his hand gesturing to the crowd to leave. They walk down the hallway and get to the stairs. This is quite the building and we are really excited to be working out of it.

Jason taps out a quick group message Etta Roy Incoming to CU 30 secs

When they reach the first floor landing Jason motions to the labs, and offices. This is where most of the work gets done, but by request lets continue downstairs to our containment unit. This way, watch your step. And he leads them downstairs to the basement, looking out for Etta and Roy.

Hearing Jason refer to him as Director of Physical Fitness, he responds, Does that mean I get a raise?

As Jason speaks, he notices a couple people looking ready to abandon the tour. Even after he told people he was going to be keeping an eye out for just this sort of behavior, people still can't do as they are asked. He moves to intercept the wanderers-to-be.

Roy attempts to get Etta's attention by poking her shoulder "Uh that screen says one of 2 ghosts is contained....but we only captured one ghost....so where's the second one?"

Seeing two people start to head back downstairs, Lionel tries to intervene, keeping them with the rest of the tour. Unfortunately, the excitement of the day has his adrenaline pumping. Instead of placing a hand on the shoulder of each in order to steer them back where they belong, he accidentally knocks one of them down. Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Please, let me help you up. Reaching down to take the visitor's hand, he helps them to their feet if they accept his offer. Again, I'm sorry, but you were told everyone needed to stay with the group. Had you listened and not tried to wander off, this would not have happened.
