"Oh no, they're wandering off of the map!"
"There's nothing at all to see over there. And did I forget to mention that there's an impenetrable marsh in that direction?"

Players: "An impenetrable marsh? That's clearly where the DM has put the (insert objective)! We need to hire a team of engineers and several thousand peasants to build a network of drainage canals".

And............. I just turned it all in... Good lord I hope that professor is right and that is as hard as it gets. My mind feels like mush.
I am actually taking tomorrow off work just to catch up on work. Maybe I will be able to get my brain working again and make a post tomorrow.
Thanks for being patient with me!

Re: B S (X)
Do you know if there's any way I can "boormark" the campaigns I'm playing in? Preferably in a way that can also be accessed from the mobile site.
It's always a drag having to scroll through the whole boards until I finde the one I want to post in.

Enter the campaign forum. At the bottom of the page is a check box that will say subscribe forum. Check it. Mine says unsubscribe because I am already subscribed.

Re: B S (X)
But that means that you get an e-mail each time a new post has been posted right? It's not exactly that what I'm looking for.
And I believe (at least it was so before), that if you don't get into the campaign through the link in the e-mail, you don't get any new e-mails/updates or something like that.

Re: B S (X)
I don't know of any other way to "Mark" a campaign. It also adds a red mark on the campaign when it has something new you haven't read. You don't have to go through the link in the email, it starts sending new ones once you read it no matter how you get to it. I don't use the email it sends, I go to the upper right corner and use the notifications. You just hover there and it drops down with a list of all the notifications for your games and you click there to go to the new post. It is right next to the Private Message spot.

Where the red 1 is.
Re: B S (X)
You can also subscribe in the thread itself by clicking the wrench icon at the top of the page. Somewhere there's an option to turn off email notifications. People say the email notification system is unreliable anyway.

That works the same way, just for a thread instead of the campaign. I haven't had any reliability issues with the notifications in a while, used to be an issue sometimes but not lately.

Re: B S (X)
A couple of quick announcements!
I continue to get requests from players who want to bring in new characters to this game, so I better address this once and for all.
We will no longer be accepting any new characters. I just don't think it makes sense to continue bringing in low level PC's when there are only mid/high level missions left in the game. As I mentioned before, if we don't start picking off some of these planned encounters, we will be here until long after I am dead. (anyone have that Lich manual handy?)
We do have one crowd favorite character who may be making his return to the fold, but I haven't worked all those details out yet.
I am going to continue picking away at the stuff folks are trying to do in town, but I would like to get the next missions started as soon as possible. There may be an XP reward coming from the MP battle, so I will get that sorted straight away as well.

I love the smell of fireball in the morning. Smells like victory.ChubbyPixie wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 6:59 pm This is key. You guys like fireballs and lightning and stuff, right?
Re: B S (X)
LOL, I prefer lightning myself.

Re: B S (X)
Lightning or fireball preference is moot, it seems. I missed leveling up by about 150 xp. (Shakes fist at sky.)

Wait, if Chauncey continually summons Disposable Mules and immediately kills them, does he get experience for that? If so, I know what he'll be doing for the next 4 days...
Jk. He wouldn't do it. But he would think about it.
