Not wanting to be in a massive group for possible area attacks the beings might have, Podo moves to closer to the rock formation spreading out from his companions and readies himself to blast a mushroom pellet into the beings when they are within range.

Urlando will follow Podo's example and try to spread out from the others, taking shelter behind rocks to the extent possible.

Lacking any other good option, Kurot tries flashing his eyes at the energy creatures.

Kurot and Podo (due to their movement) can dash into the cover of the rock formation 500 yards away before the Minders arrive at the current group location. All others may move towards the formation but will be caught in the open (at various distances) with no cover.

Everyone except Podo can find some cover at your current location.

Kurot will take cover in the rock formation (and try the flashy light thing if he can still do that).

Urlando will take imperfect cover in his current position rather than being caught in the open. He will look for an opportunity to bash the things with his morningstar.

Podo quickly advances to the rock formation and inspects what exactly it might be and if it is safe for his companions to take cover inside/around. Podo checks for anything that might be useful in taking out the oncoming offenders.

Kurot and Podo dash into the cover of the rock formation before the Minders arrive. No artificial object or openings are present.

Silvestri and Urlando make a last-ditch attempt to find cover, finding the necessary objects that will shield them! (Both pass a Luck Check)

The unnatural entity wail pierces the mental fortitude of both Podo and Max. (Both fail their saves and are stunned. Their action die is 1d16 for the next five rounds.)

(Max, you’ll have to reroll the wetware action using a 1d16+1)

Kutor flashes his “bright eyes” at the single Minder on approach to his location. No effect on it is evident.



The two nomads prepare to attack, spinning their bolo weapons with a whirling howl.

Podo takes position behind one of the larger rocks he sees, a semblance of a plan beginning to form in his spongy brain. Calling out to Kurot he says, "If you can draw it under this section of stone I might be able to crush it beneath the rocks!"
