Following Rurtifus: Exits
Rurtifus leads the group over the bridge through a passage with still some water flowing in it barely ankle deep to a Y split in the path. He stops and sniffs the air much like a rat does in both directions and his ears twitch a little and flatten as if scared in one direction then he turns towards the other direction and his ears go back to normal as if he is happier with that direction. He then leads the group into another small cavern room. The room has two openings in the southeastern end of the room and Rurtifus stops midway into the room and acts startled his nose sniffs the air and twitches his hears flatten and he draws his short sword out looking a bit afraid but ready to do battle. Shortly afterwards you see what as a group of kobolds comes out of the passage closer to the south of the room. Shortly afterwards another kobold comes out of the other opening to the southeast in the room. Currently you can see at least 7 seven kobolds wielding spears in sight there could be more hiding behind them but you cannot currently see the passage behind them. As you figure out what you want to do one of the kobolds spears comes flying towards Rician but it misses him barely, and sticks into the cavern wall.

Re: Part 1: Welcome to Thyatis
Canis sees the spears flying towards them. He eyes his comrades right and left. The challenges that have brought them together, and the unexpected obstacle that brought them here. He becomes heartened that he is surrounded by courageous men-at-arms and shouts to the Light to see them through. "Men! Hearken to the call of the Light! Do not let these foul creatures frighten you! We are strong and prepared and have just cause to defend ourselves! To them!"
He moves forward to the left to attack the Kobold on that flank.
To Hit [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19 (+1 str/+1 weapon):
Damage s/m - [1d6+3] = 3+3 = 6 (+1 str/+1 weapon) / L [1d6+2] = 4+2 = 6 (+1str/+1weapon):
