Part 10 - The Temple Again
Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Effric, having righted himself, get ready to rush in.
Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Is there any chance of Odo firing another arrow at the source of the chanting without hitting an ally?
Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Calthas also plunges into the darkness, his sword pointing at the source of the chanting, aiming to incapacitate the magic user hiding in there.
Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Hello Darkness, My Old Friend - Round 6
INITIATIVE baddies [1d6] = 5 party [1d6] = 6
Thurwin points the shield like a mirror reflecting light, and a path is opened. You see Tavin throw a star at the chanting cleric, whist two others attack him, one missing, the other hitting him hard. The monk goes down!
Effric, Bror and Calthas race in. Odo doesn't think he can get a shot in before melee ensues, so he too races in.
This turn is still in effect, so please give me some attack rolls.

Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Odo follows the others into melee, staying well behind the front lines if he can.
Short sword (THAC0 19): [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3 [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5

Darkness, My Old Friend - Round 6 cont.
Calthas broadsword [1d20] = 19, dmg [1d8] = 8
Both dwarves miss, but the elf pierces the chain, producing a spout of blood and the clerics eyes bulge! The druid follows with a swing of his scimitar which slices the cleric's neck, killing him.
Two are left in this room:

Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
I assume Odo still doesn't have a clear shot?
Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Melee in a small, partly dark room, so no clear shots. Calmert is still under the effects of hold person.
Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
If Odo can reach any enemies, he attacks.
Short sword (THAC0 19): [1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18 [1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7

Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Effric casts heat metal on the half-orc, then drags Tavin from the battle and when free, casts cure light wounds.

Thurwin - Wizard
Thurwin scowls at the evil duo in the room, and deftly draws his wand, pointing it at the man in the crimson hooded robe, uttering the command word to attempt to paralyze him.
OOC: Jerks. I was going to try and paralyze the half orc and let him cook in his armor, but this guy is un-engaged at the moment.

I think 'paralyzation' is fair game! Calmert approves!badams30 wrote:Thurwin - Wizard

Calthas attacks the half-orc with his sword.

Darkness, My Old Friend - Round 7
Initiative players [1d6] = 6, baddies [1d6] = 1
Odo strikes hard while Bror whiffs. Effric casts his spell which doesn't do much, yet. Thurwin utters "stay" Saving throw [1d20] = 5 and the cleric is frozen in place. calthas broadsword [1d20] = 16, dmg [1d8] = 1 Calthas can't get through the half-orc's defenses.
monster attack [1d20] = 1 fumble [1d16] = 6 The half-orc adjusts his grip and his hammer get's caught in his plate armour's straps and he must take a round to untangle it. He let's loose a flurry of curse-words. His companion stands statuesquely.

Odo, emboldened by the half-orc's armor issues, steps forward and puts his sword in the warrior's leg.
