Otherwise known as "Teacher Appreciation". My wife was a teacher for a while; 12-16 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, and "Would you like fries with that" pay.

For all of you Teachers, thank you. I still recall a few of my good ones, nearly half a century later.

I will take that. Not in a school but Uni and Adult Language learning. The long hours offset by welcome term time holidays for sure.

Yup. Incredibly important, very underappreciated/ valued.

Thank you for your kind words. It can be hard work, but worth it when you see the look on a student's face when they suddenly understand what you are rambling about

It's also the worst week to stay slim, as the PTA throws pizza, candy, donuts or cake at you every day!
