An interesting thing

I was on a private subforum, where only I and the DM have access. Yet there were "two guests" also on the private subforum. None on the main forum for the game, so it wasn't a carry over from there.

Not sure how that can happen, but that's what the page said.

That is interesting. Hrm. I wonder about that because you can't see those forums when you are logged out I'm pretty sure.
Thanks Leitz!

I do know that a user viewing anything in the main game forum (parent) will also appear to be viewing any private sub-forums (child) in that game.

Ethan and I tested this pretty thoroughly.

Not saying that’s for certain the cause behind what Leitz is reporting, but it’s a possibility.

I've seen the opposite: a user in a forum does not appear in a subforum, and if they are in the subforum then they don't appear in the main forum. Now, that assumes only one tab on the site, so I'm not sure how a user would show up if they had tabs open in the main *and* subforum.

I bet it's a timing or reporting issue on pbpBB's part. But ToniXX will take a peek I'm sure.
