Sorry all; I see some have already started your characters. I was pressed for time and didn't get to start this thread.

For stats:
Roll 4d6 (drop the lowest) and assign as you desire. (Method Two from the Castle Keepers Guide)

Available Classes:
All classes in the Players Handbook are available. In addition, the following from the Player Archive are also available:
  • Arcane Thief
  • Duelist
  • Pirate

Yes. Right after I opened the thread up, I got really sick and haven't had the strength to sit in front of a computer till today. And this isn't my normal computer, I'm posting from the couch with my laptop. So my apologies to all for the wait.

Do you want a random roll for the spell book or some other method?

What Deities are you using for this game?
Full hit points at first level. Random roll for starting gold, however the minimum will be half. So if your roll indicates less than the average for your class, take half.
The Deities are the same as in Mystara (the Known World), however they are called Immortals in that game set. In this campaign they are the deities. If you need a list, please let me know and I will post something. Hell, I may make something up this weekend if time permits and post it anyway.

For those who need spellbooks, you can pick whichever spells you would like, but Read Magic is the mandatory first spell in your book.

Just as an FYI, I use the Mystara Player's Guide for 5e as a template for conversion.

What resource should we use for equipment, armor, weapons, and other items?

Assuming that this means that pick the same number that you cast and one of 1st level spells you must select is Read Magic

Sorry, I house rule from AD&D 2e on this and wasn't thinking. Players start with 3d4 1st level spells. Two of these are automatically read magic and detect magic. You are free to choose the rest up to the dice roll. I will go with the same for 0-lvl spells as well (3d4 player's choice.)
