Ruthgar manages a small smile as he finishes his unwelcome fiend. He will engage any skeleton attacking his comrades within reach.

Attack: [1d20] = 1 +1 - 1 = 1 (not good)
Saving throw versus poison: [1d20] = 17Needed to beat a 10.

Moony swings again, this time connecting good between the ribs, the skeleton in melee with Phil.

Moony melee Longsword [1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18 damage [1d8+1] = 6+1 = 7
Saving throw [1d20] = 20

Saxony

breathes in and regrets it, a cloud of smoke choking his throat and skewing his aim.

Two handed sword+1, str+1. [1d20+2] = 4+2 = 6 damage [1d10+2] = 2+2 = 4 save [1d20] = 1

In the midst of the smoke and fire Sandarin and Moony finish off the last two skeletons.

As the smoke floods the hallway being drawn to the open door behind you Saxony, Sandarin, and Allan begin to hack and cough uncontrollably breathing becoming labored.

(each takes 1 point of smoke inhalation damage)

All of the skeletons are destroyed.

Actions
saving throw for allan
[1d20] = 9

Sandarin Highhill

The paladin follows the others outside, coughing and trying to clear his lungs.

Ruthgar start moving back out of the temple keep an eye eye on the room with the pews. He'll pick up his coin on the way out. Grateful for fresh air he turns to him comrades: I can provide healing if needed.

Allan, struggling under his injuries and lack of focus during combat, takes a few minutes to meditate. He reflects on his training and self awareness to learn from this mistake. He remains quiet.

Ruthgar grimaces. I'm not sleeping in there.... perhaps on top of the temple?

Sandarin Highhill

The young paladin walks next to Allan and lays his hand on the monk's shoulder and prays.

"Oh mighty Marduk, bless this man with your healing power and let me continue striving to spread the word to the people"

(Lay on hands - 4hp)

Phil Grabs his spear from where he left it before the battle, and after a quick glance at the skeleton bones laying around, follows the others back into the open air.

Ruthgar has the right of it, better to sleep outside and start fresh in the morning than to risk being attacked in our sleep by these thing's brothers.

Saxony

Coughs and splutters but is otherwise okay. He doesn't mind making camp outside the temple but suggests an area not afflicted by the aura of decay.

I think the consensus is to rest.
Slightly off the path in the forest for a little bit of cover, I think would be a good idea?
I will take first watch if we decide to camp.

Camping here would be fine.

Ruthgar will take a closer look at the vines/plants/stuff growing on the temple in an effort to judge the difficulty to climb to the roof.

Moony

Will scout for a good spot, secure, dry and defendable though he would think that once the smoke cleared from the temple entrance, as it is covered and only has two access points it might be as good a choice to camp in.

Also check out the body we first found. Is this Dilbert or whoever is name was?
