Draws his sword and stands ready to fight, wanting to preserve what arrows he has left. He does look around for a light source that may be readily at hand like a torch or lamp. An idea forming in his mind.

Mysterious Gnome who has yet to introduce himself properly...

"I can fight, but only if I need to. I prefer to hide and run, avoiding combat if at all possible. Some say it cowardly, but I'm still alive, aren't I?" He raises his walking stick, and shows that he has a blowgun. The gnome slowly slinks into the back of the room, in an area with little to no lighting, and stiffens into a statue-like state.

The gnome is making use of his inherent ability to stand still for long periods of time and lower detection of himself, a 60% chance to remain undetected by any active observers.

The new guy...gray skinned gnome slowly sort of blends in with the surroundings by standing still everyone else prepares for battle.

As the glowing light gets closer the adventurers see right through the figure glowing before them. It looks to be a man bearing a shield and sword. It just stares at you all not making a move to attack or anything where it's should be there are nothing there the thighs down just sort of aren't visible though neither is this creature. A religion check if you have the NWP might reveal more or the Cleric can do a wisdom check 1d20 vs WIS score.

Arthur kind of just says, "Huh" as he tries to figure out what it is.

Bandir looks intently at this creature and studies it but has no clue as to what it is or how it is even there.

Rician Lockwindberg - Paladin - AC 3 HP: 14 /14:

Rician says, just barely audible enough for the party to hear,

"Heh, Santa's evil twin ?"

And concentrates on the new guy to detect any evil....

The gnome shall remain silent and still, keeping a steady eye on the party and the new figure that approaches.

Bandir switches to swords and says "Whoa. That's not good my friends." He pauses and continues,"I'm choosing to not believe what I see. This can't be a ghost."

[1d20] = 17

Arthur slack jawed mumbling,"Uhhhhh wwwell, ummm, are we rrrrruuuuunnnnniiiiinnnnggg?"

From what the gnome is able to observe, can he tell if it is indeed an illusion? He has the spellcraft NWP, but not sure if it applies to the aftereffects of a cast spell.

Bandir says,"Well i don't think it's an illusion whatever it is." Bandir stays defensive ready to strike.

Arthur states,"Perhaps there is a body we should lay to rest in a cell further on?"

Mathias just stands there, searching his memory banks for more details. "We can't go that way if it doesn't let us."
