Pilydor throws three stones at the creature

Output: init roll: [1d10] = 1

Output: Attack Roll: [1d20] = 11
Output: Magical Stones: damage roll // bonus damage vs undead: [1d4] = 3 [1d4] = 3
=> Thaco 18 - 11 => Hit vs AC 7
=> Damage 3 base damage + 3 in case undead

Output: Attack Roll: [1d20] = 13
Output: Magical Stones: damage roll // bonus damage vs undead: [1d4] = 3 [1d4] = 3
=> Thaco 18 - 13 => Hit vs AC 5
=> Damage 3 base damage + 3 in case undead

Output: Attack Roll: [1d20] = 17
Output: Magical Stones: damage roll // bonus damage vs undead: [1d4] = 1 [1d4] = 4
=> Thaco 18 - 17 => Hit vs AC 1
=> Damage 1 base damage + 4 in case undead

Initiative [1d10] = 5

and roll to hit with Battle Axe

Battle Axe (Thac0 18): [1d20] = 10, damage [1d8+3] = 4+3 = 7

will hit AC 8 :-(

Again, Darius holds back, watching the scene and waiting for the creature to reach the edge of the bog. If it does so, he will attack.

Pilydor throws his stones at the creature as it advances. The first stone gets caught up in some loose hanging vegetation on the creature and doesn't seem to do any damage. The second and third stones, however, do seem to hurt the creature. It makes no sound as it advances on you but it does recoil slightly as the stones hit.
The creature closes the gap with your group and swings its large 'hands' at the druid. The first swing goes wide but the second hits the druid on the forearm and is surprisingly hard. (1hp damage).
Vadis makes a good swing but only succeeds in cutting off a piece of moss, which the creature doesn't seem to notice.
Darius, desperate to drive the creature away, stabs at it with his spear and feels that maybe he hit bone or something solid under all the moss and vines.

End of Round.

Please post your intentions, initiative scores (include weapon speeds if you are using weapons), and then attack rolls.

Pilydor decides to move backwards and to leave melee combat to those who are able to defend themselves to do it.

Pilydor doesn't think the creature is an undead, but he starts his chant (turn undead) nevertheless.

Darius will continue to engage the creature, but will keep his distance in order to take advantage of the reach provided by the spear.

(Sorry for the delay. I was at a friend's house all yesterday evening)

Pilydor withdraws from the battle and starts an attempt to turn undead (this will have to take place next round because you are taking this round to move 1/3 your movement rate).
The creature attacks Vadis with its clubbed hands, knocking the half-elf around the head (3hp damage).
Darius has just a regular spear and so doesn't have a reach attack (you need a two-handed pole-arm or long-spear for that) but he can attack and move back five feet. The spear digs into the creature's side and cracks something. Darius quickly steps back.
Although Vadis makes a good swing, he doesn't succeed in hurting the creature.

Next Round. Please post your intended actions, initiative (including weapons speeds or modifications), and any rolls necessary.

Initiative adjusted for weapon speed = 9

To Hit adjusted for non-proficiency penalty = 16

Damage does not need adjustments, unless there's something going on that I am not aware of...

(I guess turning undead counts as innate spell ability for the purposes of initiative? Let me know if someone has a better idea or found a proper rule.)

Pilydor calls on his ancestors to send the beast back to the depths of the bog but to no effect. This creature is animated by something other than dark magic or evil spirits.
Darius steps forward and stabs the creature in the belly area at the same time that the creature swings at Vadis. Lucky for Vadis, the spear prevented the creature from hurting him (the rules don't actually say anything about a hit preventing a successful attack by a creature that had the same initiative. I thought it might be an interesting way to explain the creature's low dice rolls). The spear goes in deep and, when Darius pulls it out, you can see that something inside the creature has been ruptured and thick green liquid begins to spill out. One more hit like that might cause the creature to 'bleed out'. If that liquid is the source of the creature's energy, of course.
Vadis swings his long axe once again but sadly misses.

Darius will again thrust his spear at the creature, giving up his usual stream of banter. Now that the thing looks hurt, it's time to finish it.

Init: 1d10+4=6, To Hit: 1d20-3=10, Damage: 1d6=1

(Looks like a miss to me, unless this thing is AC 10...)
