Oralorn scans the group for any overtly wounded comrades and doesn't see any dramatic wounds, "seems like we are ready to foray further into this infested hole"

"Well, food is one use they can provide to the denizens of this lair. Also, my former maester used to tell of the magical properties of some types if mushrooms. I have never been one for alchemy however. And the way our luck has born out thus far it is also possible they are beasts of a sort themselves and consider US food! I suppose a quick and cautious look could do little harm?"

Joven being semi familiar with mushrooms that grow in the wilderness examines them a bit more. "You know I am used to the typical mushrooms that grow in the woods, some edible others not. Even some used for poison but I've never seen anything like this before."

Um.... exactly how big are these mushrooms? Would it be something that Ruken would recognize, being an gnome and all that?

Ruken approaches with the group cautiously to get a better look. His pick axe is still drawn as scans the area around the mushrooms, looking for anything that may be out of place in a garden of foods.

The screech is long uninterrupted and seems to be coming form the mushrooms.
