Re: The Lost Tavern
Alordan gives his pack one more pat and considers. “Do we have enough light? Sewers sound dark to me. Torches may be good but lanterns and oil would be better”

The Ethereal Marketplace
Zuhma's House
After everyone agrees they are ready to head down into the sewers, Alordan suggests they obtain some better light sources. Percy speaks into his shell again.
"I know a few bug hunters who collect light glands that will work perfectly where we are going. They would sell a few of them to you, I am sure."
Without waiting for an answer, Percy heads off again, urging the group to follow along.
He takes one side street after another, dipping in and out of shortcuts that lead behind carts and aside small shops, rushing here and there from one street to the next. It doesn't take long for all of you to become disorientated as to where you are, and where you started out from. Regardless of this, Percy keeps walking, and walking, and walking, eventually stopping at the end of a narrow alleyway strewn with wooden barrels and what appears to be rusting iron pipes of differing sizes sticking up out of the ground.
Percy looks around the group before pointing down again. Then the little humanoid simply climbs up onto a barrel and hops into one of the larger pipe sections, disappearing from your sight as he is sucked down into the pipe. When you look inside, you can no longer see your dark guide, only an empty iron pipe that leads somewhere unknown below.

Theo looks uncertain for a moment. Then says, Well, here goes. He keeps his sharp bastard sword sheathed, not wanting do deal himself a dire injury on the way down, planning to draw as soon as he arrives... somewhere. For a source of light, or anything else a glowing bastard sword might be needed for.

Andronichishche

In the not so distant past, he would have never considered a time when jumping into a sewer pipe was in the realm of possibility. Then again, he discovered a fantastic metal ship with equally bizarre and wonderful magic he could only dream of. He was also a half-elf at the time...
Tossing his staff into the pipe, he climbs in and follows it down into the unknown.

Alordan watches the others drop in. “Well I hope the bug hunter merchants are down there…”
He wills his sword to illuminate before he to drops into what is likely a bad idea.

Maag approaches the pipe. Leaning over the edge he takes a sniff of the air. He shakes his head."It is true wot dey say: 'It is not always yer enemies dat drop yer in der shit' " Stepping up onto the lip of the pipe, he drops into the darkness.

One by one the party members follow Percy, hopping up into the wide rusty pipe and going for a little slide. After dropping about 15 feet, the end of the pipe slopes at a 45 degree angle, followed immediately by a second 45 degree fitting, slowing your descent into a skidding slide that roughly deposits all jumpers into a wide underground bricked tunnel filled ankle deep with what appears to be a horrible smelling sewage. Can I get a [3d6] Dex check from each of you, please?
As the group plops in, the dextrous Percy is already on the move, walking away from the end of the pipe into the knee deep (for him) grey water. He turns to witness how badly this goes for the unexpecting adventurers. Though the dark creatures face is mostly covered, you think you detect a slight smile peeking out from under his dark wrappings.

Alordan suppresses a gag as he keeps his feet in the filth.
Dex (18) [3d6]=7
He’ll cut a swatch of clothing off his shirt or cloak and wrap around this mouth and nose to minimize the stench.

Dexterity (8): [3d6]=5
As he shoots out from the pipe he is immediately grateful that his hands are free as it allows him to tumble gracefully onto his feet and not face first into the water.

Normal Dex Check (Dex 18) [3d6]=4
Maag jams his hands and feet against the sides of the pipe at just the right time, and steps out into the tunnel with barely a ripple of the water. He sniffs. "Not dat bad. Der 'ouse I grew up in smelled worse dan dis".

Re: The Lost Tavern
Theo's freshly cleaned and re-blacked boots hit the slime, one planting firm but the other going off on its own on a skid. His mailed arms fly around as he tries to regain his footing and keep his balance. It's looks iffy for a moment, but manages to stay upright. He throws his shoulders back, stands at his full height, and unsheathes the bastard sword on his back with a single fluid motion. The tunnel (if it wasn't already illuminated) is illuminated by the blade's magical light.
