I will be out of touch Saturday noonish through Monday. Have a great weekend everyone!
Re: OOC II
I have a crazy week ahead of me at work so I might be a little behind on posting but will try and get an update posted soon.
Re: OOC II
No worries, hope it goes without a hitch.
Re: OOC II
I will plan on updating tonight after work or tomorrow morning when I get up if anyone has anything else they want to post.
Re: OOC II
Ran out of time this morning so my goal is to get a post up tonight after work.
Re: OOC II
I am heading into the woods for the rest of the weekend. I will get a post up Sunday night or Monday morning at the latest.

Re: OOC II
enjoy! it's a slightly rainy weekend south of you so far so it might be a wet one up your way.

Re: OOC II
I have no idea if I can help with the lock but let me know if it's useful for Ingram to pray.
And enjoy the rest of the weekend in the woods. I will be in the woods tomorrow but for a different reason (I'm golfing)

Re: OOC II
Thanks. I am back, will work on a post for the morning. Had a good time, Saturday was very wet. Got good and soaked, but was prepared with extra dry clothes for Sunday so all good. I hope you had a great time golfing sulldawga.
Re: OOC II
We got 15 holes in and then saw some lightning close up and decided to call it a day a little early!
Re: OOC II
Good call. Lightning and golf don't mix.
Re: OOC II
Sorry for the delay. Working on a post now. I may split it up into multiple since some are going in different directions. I also will post another OOC post with a rules clarification for Lharzin.
Re: OOC II
The role is a marginal failure so the talent doesn't work. That said I thought I would clarify about the Talent and the question you asked.Marullus wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 12:11 am Lharzin moves with reverence to the old stone, reaching out to touch the stone altar.

(What is the relationship between these old kings and the current king of Azadmere?)
The altar can only answer questions about what it would reasonable know/has been exposed to. So asking if the King of wherever has ever prayed at the altar is reasonable. But the altar is unlikely to have any knowledge of the relationship between 2 people particularly one who is very unlikely to have ever been here (the current king of Azadmere). The individual that the alter would know the most about would be its maker as there is always a special/psionic bond between an item and its maker. In Khuzdul culture the Altar was likely made by a mason who was also very devote. They do not have individuals who are dedicated to being priests, more individuals who feel the calling and learn more/commune with Siem and or Sereniel. These individuals are often granted the mystical (invocations) powers of a priest but their other skills are often those of their everyday occupation. Many function as teachers, sages, and advisors in addition to their daily occupation as they are highly respected.
Re: OOC II
Oh, that was a separate question and not what I was asking with the ability.
I was assuming Lharzin would already know something of the royal line (even with her bastard status).

Re: OOC II
Proof I am easily confused, LOL.
The dwarves know the following. Some of it is probably known to the humans as well, it is a common tale on Harn.
The current king is not related to the royal line of Kiraz. But the current queen is a descendant of a clan from Kiraz, but not the royal clan. When the dwarves of Kiraz sealed the city the survivors of the "Carnage of Kiraz" then made a trek across Harn to Azadmere. They were mostly adult males (less than 10 females and children survived, the queen and her children all perished leading the defenders of Kiraz). Only about half the dwarves who started the trek made it to Azadmere. The king and the last royal mason of Kraz remained with a small guard to make sure the last gate was sealed and then to come along after. They were never seen or heard from again.
Re: OOC II
