The ghoul turns to attack phil but misses the burly fighter. Phil pins the sickly thing against the wall and shoves frost bite up under the things chin and out the top of its skull. its eyeless sockets glow blue briefly from the dagger light then it slides down the wall.

Ruthgar smashes a vial of holy water on the head of the ghoul in front of him causing it to screech in agony as its skin hisses and pops. it lashes out in anger slashing the cleric across the face. (4 damage save v par)

saxony and the weakened sandarin both fail to hit their opponent as they fend off their attacks.

Phil wrenches the dagger out and turns his attention to the undead on Ruthgar, to little effect.

Ruthgar will try to hit the same heathen with his other holy water flask.

OCC: 1 flask deducted from inventory for previous round.

To hit: [1d20] = 11

Woops, missed the save versus paralysis:

Save VS paralysis: [1d20] = 9

I think I failed that one.

since the save should have come before any attack role (can;t attack if you fail) I will switch them.

Saxony

A critical situation calls for a critical role. No quite but should be effective.

Ruthgar tries to smash another vial on the ghoul but misses leaving him open to the creature to strike across his face (4 damage save v par) Phil tries to finish off the undead but is no more successful.

Just outside the door sax lands his 2 handed sword on the ghoul shoulder sundering it in two.

then the sound of battle is pierced by a soul shattering scream. the creature that was once Wevlend Nightklan reaches out and grabs a hold of Sandarin. the young holy warrior screams and drops to his knees as the very air around him seems to shimmer as his life force is being drained.

Ruthgar freezes in place as Phil runs to help sandarin the ghoul pounces on the priest knocking him to the ground and ravishing him (8 damage)

sandarin form his knees swings weakly but misses, he manages to just get his shield up to block another attack form the undead priest.

saxony misses with his sword, but rushing in Phil drives frostbite into the center of the creatures back, it lets out a wail of anger and frustration as the light in its eye sockets go out and it collapses to the floor.

Phil rushes in to aid Ruthgar, the ghoul seeing him coming leaps towards him attacking wildly but missing. Phil drives his magic dagger into the wounded undeads chest killing it.

the gem continues to pulse as allan, ruthgar, and moony all lay frozen.

Saxony, do you still have that Iron box? See if you can open it and put that stone inside it!, Sandy, can you lay hands on either Mooney or Ruthgar, to get them up and about?

Phil quickly grabs his spear from just outside the door and does a it quick search of the room, looking for any obvious threats and anything that might be used to contain the glowing gem.
Assuming nothing is found on that quick pass, he will do a detailed search of the undead priest and then the room as a whole.

either something that looks like it was made to contain it, or any substantial box or pot, chest, etc.
If nothing turns up, it may be time to hobble back to the priest's quarters, as we were whacked pretty solidly.

Sandarin stumbles to his feet and moves to Ruthgar. Sitting on the ground next to him lays on hands.

Ruthgar takes a quick startling breath as the paralys disappears.

Phil begins his search but the bodies all have nothing. He then begins searching the room

Many thanks, Sandarin... getting to know what statues feel like. Ruthgar will lay hands on Allan.
