still considering it Pyro. I'm just not overly keen on DCC.

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
I am going to Tweak the Sleep Spell a bit:
Tweaked Version:
Sleep: (1st Level Spell):
Range: 90 ft;
Duration: 5 rounds/level;
Area of Effect: 30+1ft/level (from creature/Object spell is cast onto) + Special(DM Rolls);
Components: Verbal, Somantic & Material (pinch of fine sand, rose petals or a live cricket);
Casting Time: 1 Segment
Saving Throws: None
Causes a Comatose Slumber on the number of affected creatures below (Does not work on Undead or those stated as not affected)
All creatures to be affected must be within 30 ft diameter (15 ft radius) of the target creature or object.
The area of effect is determined by the range & area center decided upon by the caster.
Slapping or Wounding will awaken affected creatures, but noise will not do so.
Awakening requires 1 complete melee round.
Note that Sleeping creatures can be slain automatically at a rate of 1 per slayer per melee round.
Creature Hit Dice: Number Affected
Up to 1; 4-16 (4d4)
1+1 to 2; 2-8 (2d4)
2+1 to 3; 1-4 (1d4)
3+1 to 4; 1-2 (1/2d4) round off
4+1 to 4+4; 0-1 (d4, 3 or 4)
Here is the 1st Edition & Basic Edition versions:
Sleep: (1st Level Spell): P. 68 Players Handbook 1st Edition 6th printing 1980
Range: 30+1ft/level; Duration: 5 rounds/level; Area of Effect: Special(DM Rolls); Components: Verbal, Somantic & Material (pinch of fine sand, rose petals or a live cricket); Casting Time: 1 Segment Saving Throws: None

Sleep
1st-level enchantment
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 90 feet
Components: V, S, M (a pinch of fine sand, rose petals,
or a cricket)
Duration: 1 minute
This spell sends creatures into a magical slumber.
Roll 5d8; the total is how many hit points of creatures
this spell can affect. Creatures within 20 feet of
a point you choose within range are affected in
ascending order of their current hit points (ignoring
unconscious creatures).
Starting with the creature that has the lowest current
hit points, each creature affected by this spell falls
unconscious until the spell ends, the sleeper takes
damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the
sleeper awake. Subtract each creature’s hit points from
the total before moving on to the creature with the next
lowest hit points. A creature’s hit points must be equal
to or less than the remaining total for that creature to
be affected.
Undead and creatures immune to being charmed
aren’t affected by this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a
spell slot of 2nd level or higher, roll an additional 2d8 for
each slot level above 1st.

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
Guys, I should have owned up to this weeks back, but, clearly, I'm just not finding time to be present to this game. Summer has proven to be a huge resource hog, both in terms of time and creative juices. My own campaign is withering on the vine from neglect.
So, with great reluctance, I'm bowing out. If things calm down in the Fall, I hope to come crawling back.
I hope to keep Beyond the Wall limping along, though, for those of you who are in that game. We can't stall out in the middle of an arena battle!

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
My internet is turned off until at least next week and I can only do stuff at the library or at work. So my posting rate is going to take a dive.

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
If the players are still around for this game, i can keep it going !
Just pick up, where it left off & point out where the group is going in the cave !
Otherwise, the game will get archieved !
On another note, I can pick up 3 more players for my roll20.net game on saturday nights starting at 9:30 pm EDT.
I think a ranger, druid & a mage/thief is still available.
We are going through, "DD1: Barrow of the Forgotten King" using 1st/2nd edition AD&D.
Let me know & i can send you the invite link

I consider myself to still be in this game!
However, as I haven't seen any GM input since June, I didn't quite know what to do except hang around waiting for signs of life....

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
right and not having all the players anymore kinda kills it too.
