Iliro

Iliro will once again stab at the ruffians, attempting to absolve himself of the failure of his last attempted attack.

Spear (THAC0 19): [1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11 [1d6+1] = 2+1 = 3 Init: [1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4

Just trust me that it was a double-triple crit with a hollow-tipped arrow. Oh. And it electrocuted him, too! Yeah!

No? Fine. Earlier post edited to include the roll.

Geoff begins a duel of arrows with one of the bandit archers. He nocks the arrow, stretches his hamstrings, checks windage, adjusts for it being Tuesday, and shoots with almost harmless accuracy. "Wait, is it Tuesday or Wednesday?"

Geoff short bow (ThAC0 19, +1 Dex): [1d20+1] = 14+1 = 15 // Damage: [1d6] = 1

Finn

Finn tries to connect with his ax once more.

Hand Ax (THAC0 19) [1d20] = 6 to hit [1d6] = 5 damage

Molly

Molly pokes her tongue out between her teeth, aims and let's another arrow fly at the same thug she hit before.

Short bow: [1d20+1] = 16+1 = 17 to hit, damage: [1d6] = 3

ooc: I wasn't sure if the guy I shot before was in melee. If he is and there are complications around shooting into melee, I'll swap to one of the others. Molly isn't fussed ;)

Cy

"Oww! That really hurt!" The arrow somehow had made its way around the crowd in front of him, around his shield and into his left shoulder. With a grunt, Cy charges forward at one of the thugs, mace held high and trying his best not to run over a halfling.
Assuming I have movement to get there and room to strike, I'll go after one of the thugs.
His swing is wild but enthusiastic.

Mace (THAC0 19): [1d20] = 7 [1d6] = 6 Init: [1d6] = 6

Grond

After waking from his stupor, Grond takes a wild swing at the nearest bandit.

Grond, Finn, Cy, Alton, and Iliro gang up on the two bandits in front—but somehow, no one can land a blow. The archers fare much better: three arrows fly into the air; three sink into the chest, neck, and head of the two bandit archers. They slump to the ground, dead.

"I'm gonna gut you for that!" growls the big guy. He bobs, weaves, and thrusts his dagger at Finn with the speed of a snake's tongue. Fortunately for Finn, the bandit's thrust comes nowhere near him.

The other bandit doesn't bother with threats. He doesn't even look mad. His face an emotionless mask, he simply takes advantage of the opening Alton's attack left in his defenses to slide a blade into his gut (-1 HP). Alton looks with shock at the dark spot spreading on his chest and falls. Then the bandit smiles.

Sorry, Ed. That does it for Alton. You're welcome to roll up a new PC, of course.

Twiddle slowly approaches the ongoing melee, bow at the ready. He doesn't engage though. Instead, he looks around the area looking for other threats.

If he sees anything threatening, he'll shoot it
Short Bow (THAC0 19): [1d20+1] = 6+1 = 7, dmg [1d6] = 5
Or not...

Struck:
Geoff replaces his bow with his silver dagger and attempts to melt into the shadows, stalking up the side of the stairway and flanking the remaining bandits.

How are we doing thief skills again, are you rolling in secret?
Edit:
Geoff replaces his bow with his silver dagger and heads closer to the melee, ready to jump around the right flank with an attack as soon as a bandit looks to be exposing himself on that side.

Attack, if he gets into combat in time this round:
Geoff silver dagger (ThAC0 19, +1 Str): [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21 // Damage: [1d4+1] = 1+1 = 2

Molly

Molly draws her bow again and waits. She doesn't have a clear shot at the moment but if one emerges she'll let loose.

Short bow: [1d20+1] = 4+1 = 5 to hit, damage: [1d6] = 5

... and miss anyway.

Cy

”Where...is...Penelope you Ruffians?!?”, Cy barks out as he tries again to both fend off incoming blows and at the same time brain the nearest foe.

Mace (THAC0 19): [1d20] = 11 [1d6] = 2 Init: [1d6] = 2

Molly and Twiddle fire into the melee. Twiddle's shot thunks off one of the big doors behind the combat, but Molly manages to impale the leader just as Finn sinks his axe into the leader's neck. The bandit falls over, very dead. "Take that," says Finn.

The other bandit standing over Alton's corpse turns his attention—and his dagger—to Finn. He stabs at mid-air.

Grond, Cy, and Iliro still can't hit anything in melee. ”Where...is...Penelope you Ruffians?!?” demands Cy. The ruffian just snickers in response.

Geoff closes into melee and finds an opening to stick his silver dagger in the bandit's side. The bandit groans, but lives. Heavily outnumbered and heavily injured, he drops his knife and raises his hand. His grin fades. "Okay, okay! I surrender!" he pleads.

Molly

Molly quickly strings another arrow and advances up behind the others. She aims through the crowd at the remaining bandit's face and growls, "Answer the question bullseye features, lest you want to try catching this with your teeth. Where''s Penelope?"
