Re: where are the children
Lefleur leaps to his feet grabbing his spear. saying something in his language he stabs the demon as you cast your spell just in time.
The demon angrily steps back and raises his arms and a wave of fire rushes over you.
both of you save v magic (lefluer +3 you are +4 in addition you get reaction adjust from dex for this save like you would a fireball)

Re: where are the children
before moving to next round combat have to complete last rounds fire wave. you can keep your rolls
lefleur takes 5 damage
syl takes 6
lefleur takes 5 damage
syl takes 6
Re: where are the children
After the wave washes over you and you are barley affected you see the demons eyes light up as he grows angry, you and lefleur land blows, your potion surges through you and as you bury the head of your handaxe into the demon he screams in anger.
he swings at Syl missing with his claw but landing with his flaming broadsword (9) the flames do not seem to do any additonal damage (your ring)

Once again syl lands an enormous blow to the demon rocking him backward. the demon steps back curing in a twisted tongue and with its powerful legs and wings leaps into the air taking off.
Re: where are the children
as the demon flys off you hear a sobbing, you look over and the little girl is awake, scared, but safe.

Sylhorn tries to recover the arrows. Percentile [1d100] = 31 Percentile [1d100] = 17
Afterwards he tries to calm the girl down "Son't worry I the demon is gone and I am going to get you back to your parents."

it takes several minutes to get her calm enough to just a whimper, but eventually she does and falls back asleep.
