Wrenly the Brown, MU
Who needs healing? Asherrion? Wulfhart?
"Well, you see, we came across this scroll containing a healing magic of the highest order. A wonderful thing for a man such as you to have at his disposal in case of great need - and a fine acquisition for your church, I'm sure." He shows the priest the scroll of healing they acquired in the temple. "I propose the following: you heal my friends with any minor spells you have available to hand, and in return I'll give you this."

As barbarian, thief and dwarf make their way to the door a drunken man careens into them, spilling his mug of ale on himself and the floor.
Does Fingal notice any funny stuff here, like a pickpocket attempt or something like that? Does the drunk look familiar to us?
As the trio is about to leave, Fingal hears the question from Porphry and joins in the pairs conversation.

Yes, yes I did! Did you say you know this Thayne there whitey?

There are two hobbits behind Fingal, walking away in separate directions. The drunk does not look familiar.

Wulfhart, Fingal and Groyn decide to seek out more exotic entertainments. It has literally been years since they have enjoyed themselves in such a manner. As barbarian, thief and dwarf make their way to the door a drunken man careens into them, spilling his mug of ale on himself and the floor.

"Sorry good sirs!" he slurs and recovers his balance.
"Watch yourself! Ale is meant to fill our bellies, not wet them!" The barbarian continues, set on his mission to the house of ill-repute.

Looks like everyone bar Porph and Wrenly but the HP thread may not be up to date, Chub

As Porphyry relates his tale Elric of Melnibone nods his head, raises his eyebrows at points, comments with "ah ha" and "I see" and so forth. At one point Porphyry thinks he hears Elric's black sword snicker, but surely that must be noise carrying from the crowded tavern.

"I suspected that with your half-goat body you were a creature of Chaos," comments the albino. "To hear you converse with Chaos Lords themselves is... impressive. Your adventures are the very stuff of bard-verse. I myself am a little familiar with the forces of Chaos."

"I seek this Tayne Tsaridian for his murder of a good friend's family. The man is a touched in the head, a cruel and ruthless maniac. He has a knack for escaping, but I'll see him dead by my  blade. You say you've heard the name?"

Turning around, Porphyry calls out, "Fingal? You mentioned a "Thayne?" Back at the Keep? Think he's any relation to this man's quarry?"

Porphyry turns around to see Fingal, Wulfhart and Grindhelm recovering from a drunk man who collided into them. Two hobbits are behind Fingal and seem to turn away and walk in opposite directions, perhaps to avoid the big mess in front of them.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room...

Aquar Ionian takes a draught from his ale. "Let me see that scroll."

The sailor-priest of Procan unfurls the parchment and studies the holy prayers. "Hmm, yes, not bad. Very well Wrenly, you have a deal. Bring over who you need to receive mighty Procan's healing benedictions."

Asherrion the gray hybrid elf alien notices he is getting many stares. He hasn't been in public much since his experiences aboard the metal ship. He feels a little uncomfortable. Sitting next to a 7' tall lizard man warrior doesn't help.
Great post Pulpatoon.
The HP chart is up-to-date. Only Silbosh rolled his HP recovery.

The promise of healing overpowers the desire of Wulfhart's loins. The simple-minded patrons of the tavern cannot know that they just witnessed one of the most improbable outcomes of any conflict in history.

The woodsman mumbles thanks to Wrenly and saunters over to receive benediction. He says nothing, trying to avoid an embarrassing faux-pas such as the one he suffered years ago when conversing with Brother Jerome.

Groyn "Grindhelm" wrings the spilled ale out of his beard as he follows Wulfie and Fingal back to Porphyry. Who's Porphy talking to?

Fingal watches the two halflings closely and keeps his eye on where they go.

He then follows the others to get in line for the free healing.

Anybody missing anything from their pockets? I think that drunk was a decoy.

He checks his own possessions to see if anything is out of order.

Asherrion doesn't understand all of the stares. He continues his chat with the lizard man, telling him of his adventure on the surface fighting the thingie-thing. He embellishes, of course.

Fingal watches the two hobbits move off in opposite directions, one leaving by the front door and the other from the back. The thief thinks to check his belongings and realizes with frustration that his magic dagger and magic ring in a pocket are gone!

Wulfhart, standing near Wrenly's table, notices several people around him look longingly at him. A woman winks at him. A man pinches his posterior. The barbarian realizes his Codpiece of Virility must be doing its thing. He had recently put it on, having forgotten about it since taking it off in the Cataphract Chamber (lest awkward longings develop within his adventurer comrades over their two years of imprisonment.)

"So this is the first man to receive a healing?" asks Aquar Ionian to Wrenly and Wulfhart. "Okay, sit down here. Stay still and say "Procan is almighty, Procan is the real deal, Procan thank you for this heal."

A tavern bouncer approaches Asherrion and Swilbosh. "You're scarin the customers you two. Sorry you'll have to leave."

Groyn looks wonderingly at the albino talking with Porphyry.
Sorry I got my dwarves confused.

Fingal rushes out the nearest door that he saw the halflings depart.

IVE BEEN ROBBED!!! IT WAS THOSE TWO HALFLINGS!!!

Can someone watch the ale spilling drunk while I try to retrieve my things from these common thieves!!!

With that, Fingal runs out after the halflings.

Damn, it sure is hard for a guy to keep any magic items in this game! ;)

Porphyry: "I'd hardly claim to be a creature of Chaos—where I come from, the satyr-morphotype is exceedingly common and proper. Humans are considered crass in their blatant imitation of the forms of the gods. For that matter, the forces of Chaos are not of particular personal interest, except in so far as they occasionally overlap with my studies. That said, mine is an extraordinary intellect, and the master of subjects from even the briefest study. Should you care to learn more, I would be happy to discourse upon the subject."

Re: Tayne: "Ah, a blood debt. That I can understand. I gather the Keep harbors quite a few miscreants who seek to enjoy the fruits of civilization while keeping an open path to the Borderlands, should they draw the attention of the authorities. Perhaps, when my charges have sated their base desires, we could accompany you there?"

Hearing Fingal yelling about thieves, Porphyry surreptitiously pats down his jerkin, making sure his meagre possessions, including his spider-ring, are still tucked safely away.

"This reminds me, I do have a letter so send. A pleasure to make your acquaintance... Lyric of Melonborne, was it?"

Porphyry wanders to the bar to inquire after postal services.

When Fingal sees that he is getting some assistance, he shouts to the other(s).

I will go out the front door! You take the back. We can head them off outside!!!

Asherrion targets the back door when he goes, tracking the halfling like only he can.

Swilbosh presumably larger than the bouncer at 7 foot tall, 'accidently" pushes him out of the way as he rushes to follow Ash out of the back door to chase the Halflings.

Wrenly looks up at the commotion to see his friends running not only hither, but also yon. He addresses the priest: "Oh, my. Perhaps we could meet somewhere later, at your church perhaps, to finish up this transaction? It seems my party has once again found itself in a 'pickle.'" Wrenly pockets the clerical scroll, sighs and settles up with the barmaid for the party before heading outside to see what is transpiring. He'll stay near the inn for now, letting the others do the "tracking" of the theives, and watch the door for the drunk who spilled the ale to see if he leaves.

Wulfhart feels silly reciting the words in a room full of drunks, but does so.

"Procan is almighty, Procan is the real deal, Procan thank you for this heal."
