After paying Durnan, he goes through the process of lowering you down, slowly into the well. At the bottom, you find the sandy floor much as you remember. You see the there are tracks from a large number of ifferent sized beings you have walked through here recently...

Once you group up and get your light sources out (let me know what sources and who is holding them) you move down to the forested pillar room, and then you turn the group left toward the passage you only saw for a moment when you were running back quickly fleeing a dragon. You begin to hear a soft repetitive thump, thump, thump, from down that hallway as if somebody is dropping pumpkins....

Ganon:

When the bucket deposits Ganon at the bottom of the well, he ignites a torch.
Ganon keeps to the back of the party letting those with more fighting skill in front.
Upon hearing the strange noise Ganon will whisper to the party.
"Do you hear that? Something up ahead."
Ganon move his torch to look at the ground. He scans the floor looking for tracks of dragon size.

Tella - Elf

Yes, I hear too...in a whisper. Tella will move to the side so she is not in line with the middle of the hallway until the group forms up their marching order. She will keep her eyes peeled down the hallway the best she can.

Cormack will stand beside Thorax, his axe in both hands ready to bring the fight to whomever is wanting it.

Glimble lights his bullseye lantern and pokes his way through to look and listen. "I hear it as well."

You keep moving slowly forward, and then at the edge of the light you see something floating at waist height, which then drops to the ground, but then it lifts up floating to waist height before dropping to the ground again. As you move forward even closer you realize it is a humanoid head...

*do you wish to move closer and inspect or try to circumvent?*

Glimble reaches for his boomstick and a vial of that holy water shot mix, thusly handing off his lantern to whomever will take it.

Ganon:

Ganon will take Glimble's lantern. He now has a torch in one hand and a lantern in the other.

The head continues to bounce off the floor and then rise again a couple of feet from the floor. You get a bit closer with everything readied, and you can see the body of the corpse, it is also missing a leg which is perhaps another 10 feet behind the body. While the body rests motionless, the leg is moving in a slow, mid-air, tumble, tendrils of skin wiping across the stone floor as it sometimes knocks downward during its lazy spin.

Behind this creepy visage the corridor continues straight, there is also a passage to the left you had used while running away from the dragon (connects map 1 and 2). However if you'd like to go in either of these directions you'd have to pass by this horrid thing....

Ganon:

Ganon jumps at the sound of Thorax's voice as it booms through the passage way, breaking the silent whispers of the group. The lights of the torch and lantern dance on the walls as Ganon gets his composure back.
"Golden coins of Waukeen, don't call to it." Ganon says in loud whisper.

The turn undead doesn't seem to have an effect. You start to wonder if it isn't necromancy, but some other form of magic....

Glimble scratches his forehead a moment then loads his weapon. Once loaded he will take aim at the thing.

*OOC - I updated the Maps thread with more up-to-date maps, with all the stuff from Trip 1, the Dragon Encounter, and Snake Lady, and then on Map 1, I added in the southern route which splits to head over to Map 2, or you can head straight. In order to go in either direction, however, you will need to get past this strangely floating head, illusion or real...*

Tella - Mage

I'm thinking this may be a warning. A powerful mage may lie ahead.
