OOC: Revs is up on 9.

{Revs}

Revs frowns as he notices the Message Indicator light on his phone is lit earlier than expected and reads the message from Headstone. "Call Ace" he mutters as he locates the number in the info they have and dials it. "Ace? You have my word that El-Cid will be released and unharmed.". He looks over to Baby Blue and hold his phone towards her direction.

Revs pulls out his phone, reads, dials, and hurriedly speaks his message in a staccato voice not unlike a trideo announcer reading the fine print on medical ads.

Ace answers Revs's call as it comes in without a word. He nods his head in acknowledgement of Revs's promise.

---

OOC: Revs uses a Free Action to read his message, a Simple Action to start a call, and a really, really crowded Simple Action to talk to Ace.

OOC2: El Cid is up on 8.

Edited: OOC3: I belatedly realized I probably should have said that. He takes his Delayed Free Action to answer Revs's call. He still have his Declared Free Action for the next person to contact call. So, I have revised my post.

[El Cid]

El Cid glares at the members of the group that he can see, keeping up the ruse. "He may not kill you, but I will find you all!" With a sullen look, he waits to be released.

ooc: simple action speak.
ooc: Delaying movement and simple action for when he is released.

Ace answers Revs's call as it comes in without a word. He nods his head in acknowledgement of Revs's promise.

El Cid makes his threat and waits for the chance to go into the building when he’s able to do so without being shot in the head.

OOCs: Tears is up on 6.

Tears pulls out her metal handcuffs and walks 4 meters towards the driver’s side of Ace’s van.

With the darkened windows, she cannot see him, and he does not respond verbally.

---

OOC: Tears uses all 4 m of her walking movement.

OOC2: Pacman is up on 5(a)

{Pacman}

"Slow and frosty everyone so we can all see sunrise."

Pacman holds still with his Thunderbolt not wavering from El Cid's neck, waiting while the scene plays out.

Pacman continues to hold the pistol to El Cid’s throat and does not promise to release Cid, allowing him to leave unharmed.

Bone Biter yells in the direction of Ace’s van. “If ya surrender all nice ’n easy, yer chummer can go inside untouched, just like Headstone said. I give ya my word as a runner.” He turns to Headstone. "Coming, boss,” Bone Biter says as he dashes towards Headstone.

---

OOC: Bone Biter uses uses a Complex Action to make his promise to Ace. He uses a Free Action to Say 3 Words (or fewer) to Headstone, and he dashes his full 9 meters towards Headstone.

OOC2: Baby Blue is up on 3.

Baby Blue leans towards Rev's phone. "Ace, this is Baby Blue, I'm with Revs. Cid will be left unharmed. I swear in my father's name."

Complex Action: Swear to leave Cid unharmed.

Over the phone, Baby Blue agree to leave Cid unharmed without promising to release him.

---

OOC: Skye is up on 2.

{Skye}

Skye's disembodied voice calls out to Ace, "I'm sure as frag not going to mess with that troll, you don't have to worry about that. And how in Hades could you know I'd be here when even I didn't expect to be here a couple of hours ago?"

-----

OOC: I assume saying that much uses up all her actions, which is fine.

Skye promises not to mess with Cid but also fails to promise to let the troll go.

“Hold, chummers,” Ace calls out to those moving towards him and demanding his surrender. “You’re getting way ahead of yourselves. Let’s try this again using all our native languages and see if that helps.” He pauses for a moment and then shifts from standard edited UCAS English into Seattle CitySpeak. “I got two terms ya gotta swear ta ’fore I surrender myself.”

“First, ya gotta leave Cid whole ’n unfragged. Most a ya swore ta that already. Frosty,” the experienced runner explains. “Only Pacman ain’t done it. He just stuck ta his original demands, which I ain’t never gonna agree ta.”

“Second, ya gotta free El Cid, set him outta yer sites, ’n let him go inside, neh?” Ace continues. “Only Headstone, Revs, ’n Bone Biter specifically gave me their word on that bit. Tears more ’r less swore by givin’ a blanket ‘I agree’ without no specifics. I’ll take that as a ‘yes ta all’ ’n hold her ’ccountable if she breaks her word same’s if she’d said it outright. Pacman, Baby Blue, ’n Skye ain’t gave me that promise yet. ’N I ain’s steppin’ outta this van ’til they done so.”

“Ya ’probly think I’m a hoop fer being so fraggin’ picky,” he goes on to explain. “Chip truth. I am. But I’m the one puttin’ my precious hoop in the hands a nearly untried newbies ’fore ya even does yer side a the deal. I’m near-on making a deal with a dragon here. If I’m gonna take that risk, I drekkin’ well want the terms a our dea’ spelled out exact ’n all, neh?”

“That clear ’nuff fer ya, ’r do I need ta use smaller words.” .

---

OOC: Ace has used a Complex Action to speak. He is Delaying a Free Action to use at the end of Headstone's Phase on 17. He has all 18m of Movement remaining.

OOC2: Headstone is up on 17.

Headstone rolls his eyes, not particularly impressed by the weak insult. He let's him have it as he casually leans against the wall.

"Skye," Ace says as it becomes clear Headstone has nothing to say, "Ask later."

Then, since Headstone has no comment, Ace turns his attention to Pacman to address the terms the ex-cop originally stated for El Cid’s release.

“Pacman, you demanded I turn off the security system on my van,” Ace says. “That ain’t happening. I know the crime statistics for this part of town. I pay my protection money to the relevant players here, just like I do in the rest of Downtown and most of Seattle. But leaving my van unmoving and unprotected for several days or more, not knowing how long I’ll be gone? That’s just begging to have it stripped when I get back. Normally, when I head out of town for biz, I let gang leaders and organized crime bosses know ahead of time. Just so no one thinks I’m dead and my stuff’s fair game. I can’t do that now, so I’m sure as death leaving my own protections in place.” He pauses a second. “And you’re certainly not getting my van or anything in it… besides me… as part of this deal. You really think you’re worth that, and I’ll revert back to Plan A which involves a lot more lead and blood.”

---

OOC: Ace uses his Delayed Free Action to speak 3 words to Skye on the end of Headstone's Phase. He uses a Complex Action to talk to Pacman. He will Delay his Free Action from this turn as well. He still has 18m of Movement should he choose to use it,

OOC2: Headstone is up on 7.

“Alright, Headstone,” Ace says, “Let’s presume for the moment that the rest of your team understands the situation and gives me their word… And let’s talk specifics, neh?”

"You want me to divest myself of all my weapons and leave them here where I won't be able to access them?" the runner asks, "Or do you want me to turn them over to you where I can easily reclaim them if drek gets fragged?"

---

OOC: Ace uses a Free Action that no one on the team can see. He uses a Complex Action to talk to Headstone.

OOC2: This brings us to Iggies and Movement Declarations. Ace is Declaring his Movement as Running.

Not wanting to confuse the newbies by saying much more, Ace holds off before saying anything more until Headstone and the others have a chance to respond. Instead, the team has no idea what Ace is doing behind those darkened windows.

---

OOC: Ace uses two Simple Action and a Free Action. He Declares a Free Action at the end of Headstone's Phase on 25. He has not used any of his 18m of Movement for the Turn.

OOC2: Headstone is up on 25.

Headstone let’s out a little chuckle.
’’How I would love to see you back those big words up, but unfortunately for ‘me’ the run comes first.’’ putting heavy emphasis on me.
’’Leave all your weapons in the vehicle. Leave everything in the car that you can use to communicate with the outside world or others can use to track you down.
Before you complain, it’s for their safety, not yours. I may not be impressed, but you have a lot of people looking up to you. People who might be willing to do very stupid things to get in your good graces. Like trying to save you. You do not want them to do that. They are all fair game, none excluded. That is not a threat, just telling it how it is.’’
Headstone replies.

OOC2: I will revise to say who is up once I have all Iggies and Declared Movement.
