Rolled a 2... 2dex+8dodge+2=12

Henrich nearly stumbles over the fallen bandit while twisting away from the slash, barely avoiding getting cut.

Assuming we were fresh at the beginning of the fight there is still the fatigue level "winded" before "weary".
There is...my fault I missed it.

Heinrich is Winded with 0 modifiers to die rolls.

[1d10] = 5
5(roll)+12(Dex+Ability+Weapon mod)=17

Rudolfus please roll defense against a 17. Quickness + Combat Ability (for hammer) + Weapon defense mod + Stress Die.
[1d10] = 2
-1Qik +6(combat abil) +0(weap def mod) + 2(roll) -3(medium wound) = 4

Uh, oh...

Bandit 1 attack = 17
Rudolfus defense = 4
Attack Advantage = 13

Damage: 13+7(str+axe mod)=20-4(stamina+armor soak)=16

Rudolfus is size 0 (1-5=Light; 6-10=Medium; 11-15=Heavy; 16-20=Incapacitating). 16 = Incapacitating Wound

Rudolfus falls to the ground badly wounded!

Angus, it's your turn.

Angus will attack bandit 1, since he is the closest.

It looks like I roll a d10
[1d10] = 10

which is a botch possibly...
so...

[1d10] = 10
which tells me I have botched something, apparently???

Can we go on record to note I have now rolled 3 tens out of 4 attempts...

Lol wow, those results would be great if this wasn't combat. In 5e a botch results in a total of 0. Be glad it was not on your defense roll!
Angus slips in some dog poo and looses his footing, which spoils his attack. The big man is getting frustrated...

Roll 1d10+2. A result of 9 or higher means you go berserk!

End of round status...
Heinrich is winded
Rudolfus is incapacitated
Bandit 2 is incapacitated

ROUND 2

Bandit 4 can not get a clean shot with his allies in the way. He drops the bow and draws a short sword as he moves in closer to the melee.

Heinrich's turn!

Heinrich wants to grab Bandit 3 and try to forcefully yank him towards himself (excert a fatigue level again) , subduing him by grappling. Is that possible or would the other bandits still be able to attack him? Also: the rules state that you have to be unarmed to make a grapple attack but letting go his knife is rather unwise...
I think for now Heinrich will instead use the blundered attack, grabbing the arm of bandid 3 and stabbing him with the knife into the armpit after a hard pull. (If everything works ;)

Roll: 9

Attack: 2dex+7brawl+9excert+1knife+9roll=28

*cough! cough!* "You guys are doing great... you seem to have these blackguards under control... I'm just going to lie down for awhile..." Rudolfus sputters, just before dropping his hammer an easing down into the muck.

That doesn't look right. Exerting doubles your combat ability in this case Brawl. Your total should be 26 by my count.

Bandit 3 Defense Roll...
[1d10] = 6
11(Qik, Ability, Weapon)+6=17
Once again Heinrich's blade strikes!

26(Heinrich Atk)-17(Bandit Def) = 9(Combat Advantage)

9(CA)+4(str and weapon mod)=13 -3(Bandit soak)= 10damage

10 = 1 Medium Wound

Status...
Heinrich is weary (-1 all rolls)
Rudolfus is incapacitated
Bandit 2 is incapacitated
Bandit 3 has 1 Medium Wound (-3 all rolls)

Bandit 1 attacks Angus with an axe!
[1d10] = 2
12(dex,weapon,ability)+2=14
Angus please roll defense vs 14

Bandit 3 attacks Heinrich with a short sword!
[1d10] = 5
11(dex,weapon,ability)-3(wound penalty)+5=13
Heinrich please roll defense vs 13

Luckily Heinrich has the "Enduring Constitution" Virtue and can deduct 1 point from fatigue and wound penalties.

Roll 6

2dex+8dodge+6roll=16

Heinrich easily move out of the way of the bandits slash, the wound under his sword arm making is movements noticable less powerful...

(would have Heinrich be hit if Bandit 3 wasn't hurt? Do we have to roll over?)
