I am good with everything. But work has got me pinned down again. Damn Train brakes started a fire on Sunday. And wouldn't you know it was close to a High Dollar Country Club. I will get my equipment finalized as soon as I can.

Re: The VOID - True OOC for everyone's eyes
no worries Darklin
No takers on the recruitment post so I guess I will have to get the IC stuff running later today after work. Sorry I was really hoping to get someone but I did roll an NPC up that could be of use in this lack of a person.

I love the wizard cover on the 1st Ed PHB. The earlier ones look naff. Like some kid scribbled them. Especially the dodgy efreet cover on the DMG. Man alive it was clear they couldn’t afford much in the first instance

Re: The VOID - True OOC for everyone's eyes
I do give props to some of the older edition artists some of the artwork was great, and some of it was crap. But hey I am not artist myself. One thing I hate to admit is that WotC has some crazy talented artists doing their artwork compared to old TSR.
BTW someone actually did express interest in the recruiting post.

Excellent.
Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the inner art work I loved from the early editions.
But the original covers were just pants

I always found the hokey art in the 1st ed books charming. Probably stems from the same thing that makes me like campy old horror and scifi movies like you see on Svengoulie on Saturdays. I have already eaten that stuff up.

Many thanks and excited to be in a 2e PBP group!
I briefly discussed some ideas with GreyWolf around creating a lightly armed, lightly armored, city based fighter character to join the party. I haven't started reading the informational posts yet, but am planning to make an introductory post by Fri, 6/11 (Eastern Time Zone)

Thank you for the warning, Bluehorse. I will have backup characters in mind in case of tragically bad dice rolling

Yes, sir, Monsieur Rose, understood. Sadly, I am very experienced in generating new characters.

I'm just having fun. Making characters is sometimes the best part. Not in any of Greywolf's games, though.
Anyone ever play Dead Earth? Talk about a crazy character generation.
