I like the menu of suggestions and we could reasonably JOAT all of them and probably specialise in some.

Perhaps it ought to be an in-character discussion.

Has Hiro assumed the Captaincy. He remarked at the table he was not but that seems to be the logical outcome of the talks.

I should presume other characters have pilot skills also. Not that I mind flying but I am happy to rotate and my main skillset and experience is in other ship quarters.

I wonder if we could have a separate thread for the TTTS trading company discussions, cargo notekeeping, accounting etc so that can be read and responded to outside of the action threads.

Hiro is almost the opposite. Initial SOC C but dropped down to SOC 9 by a single tragedy first term. It is the regaining of this status that is his primary motivator.

In his last term, Hiro realized he was betrayed; he would never regain his title by small measures.

Now Hiro is looking for a big opportunity - raise an army, blackmail a government, raise a truly outrageous anount of money, command a fleet of ships, etc. He is not sure what form this gamble will be, but he sees a big gamble as his only option to ever succeed.in regaining his title.

I feel like Jacopo compared to your Count of Monte Cristo with a Soc 3.

Yep, just the sort Monte'd hook up with. Man with a plan, on his way up. Monte doesn't make grand plans he just makes sure the machinery behind them works.

GM question:

Would there be time, before departure, to assess the damaged grav-bike and buy those parts we cannot make.

Subsidiary question:

Is there a workshop and/or 3D printer aboard the Train?

You can assess the bike, it appears it hit the R front quarter. Shroud, grav plate supports are beyond repair. there is some structural physical damage which needs a strip down to look at closer.. Electronics are torn/ripped, but appears complete. Bend in gravplate but appears workable. Scrapes and minor running dents down the R side, paint job ruined, needs Bondo and a new paint job

There are no parts supply on the tl2 planet for a 40 old year old grav vechicle.

There is a 3D printer in Engineering. Which should be able to handle the work, if you can get the plans.

Registration stamp shows make, model and serial, you recognize the company, 'Zwaartekracht Enterprises' as still in existence, known for luxury grav vehicles and racing cars.

With the right supplies and time, you feel you can fix this.

Oh the unlucky 7th eh? Bit like Custer's men. We used to eat that lot for breakfast." he walks on whistling a tune.

Hiro shrugs, not understanding Marco's comment
It was Marco's attempt at 'alpha male-ism', or the ' my regiment was better than your regiment' to the new recruits. As inspired by Arnie in Commando.

As I hope everyone noted, I updated the experience point system.

I hand out extra pips at the endo of a chapter or set time. That time is now.

Hiro, Gunnar, Dev and Garrett get two pips.

Marco and Monte get one.

Please attach them to any skill you feel that you used since you started playing, if you can make a case for using it, you get it. You may attach 2 pips if you wish.

Also did anyone roll a 12 while playing, or succeed under stress.

Let me know and we can assign a pip then.

No natural 12 rolled. Having really only used the Pilot Skill (spacecraft) it is probably the most likely place to initially invest in skills training for Marco Hulsebosch.

I asked earlier regarding the Campaign ID number in the forum and you provided this number but that number does not link my character to any existing game on the forum.

Monte hasn't made many rolls since I joined (just the one in last post). I assume in the previous scene he used Athletics and Gunnery. Since MgT2 uses Athletics to replace Zer0-G Ops it seems best to put his pip there.

OK he used a ladder to head up, so I am going to say, you get it in energy rifle, as that is the skill that covers thin in Mongoose (no autofire skill). OK?
