In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Since Cruloc is now 20 feet away from the nearest enemy, will he need to spend the next round "closing"?
Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Yes, if he wants to engage in melee combat with P1 or P2.

Sorry, Pixie. That's three and a half days. I'll respectfully NPC Kiri.

No problem Pixie.
Nope. In 1e you can swap and attack in the same round. Good ol' 1e.

Ok. I'll take care of that when I am on my home system.

Cruloc will bind everyone's wounds.
Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Savage post, Urson! I sincerely laughed out loud. Cruloc has been out-barbarianed by a Verulian.
Geez, welcome to the group, Grigor! Pincushioned, then dismissed.

Yrkoon: Zahra has been out of sorts for a while. She's still adjusting to the idea of being "Outside ". It makes her cranky

Once Cruloc has done what he can for Amethu, Grigor, Iago, and Gnasher, he'll set about removing the scalps from the two Picts he bisected.

OOC: was the charm spell he was casting before he was struck down still available or was it spoiled during that attack? Thanks.
Spoiled during the attack. If a caster loses initiative, and is damaged in combat, any spell they are casting that round is lost.

He asks Kiri about the cliff. Could we descend it and make another route across the valley. How deep is the cliff? Is the floor traversable.
Hi Bluetongue,
The trail follows a low ridge for a while, with narrow stone ravines on either side whose deepest points are over 20 feet. They don't run far.

Hey everyone.
For the new players: whenever the PCs are faced with a decision, like follow the trail or move cross country, I go with the majority to keep things moving.
Raven, I noted Amethu's healing of Grigor and himself and updated both your hitpoints.

Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Would Amethu have any knowledge of this place?
Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Of the fort, only what the adventurers have heard in their travels approaching here. I've included such info in my IC DM posts.
Amethu carries charts and maps to the last known location of the lost Atlantean ruin of Thracia, which lies further west, across the Black River deeper into Pictland. Full details are here for ease of reference.

And please keep those questions coming, everyone. Sometimes, I'm so bent on delivering mood, flavor and action, that I overlook information!

Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
What gold did we receive from the pyramid? Cruloc's sheet is the same as it was when he first started. Or did he drink it all away?

Hey Yrkoon,
Here's you go:

By charts and by stars, scholarly Amethu can navigate to the last known location of Thracia of lost Atlantis.
Their vital quest will take the better part of a year.
