Foracor whispers to Eli, He might tell us more now.

To the Goblin he says, Little Bene, I'm so pleased to have you with me. Be a mench and help us carry some stuff. Oh, look, here is Fingal with a bow and a quiver of arrows. Would you carry these for me please?

To Wulfhart and Albertus, Southeast it is then.

Convergance

Fingal is nervous about all the noise. He switches to looking down the west corridor.

Bayard

Bayard falls in line with the party heading Southeast.

In marching order, the adventurers proceed south east through the goblin barracks room. Bene the goblin pauses at the sight of the other dead goblin. "Hrogar is dead," he says pointing. He looks at Foracor: "How can you be friends with these human murderers?"

The stairs ascend 15' to a landing. On the left is a curtain covering a doorway, to the right are stairs 10' up to a door (see previous map.)

***Albertus, Cleric, Caves***

"Maybe ask your goblin friend what is behind the curtain?"

Sword held ready for a gutting thrust, Niles (11/17) shoves shield first through the curtain.

Unwise Charm

Foracor puts his arm around Bene and says, Hrogar was killed by an orgillion, not my friends. He went crazy and attacked all he saw. The orgillion also hit you on the head, which is why you are confused. Foracor reaches out and caresses the lump. We found you and Hrogar here like this. That is when Eli woke you up. Remember?

The orgillion had a key Bene, where does the key go?

He shows the key to the Goblin.

Bene, what is upstairs?

Are there more human prisoners? Can you take me to the human prisoners?

And Bene, do you know of any traps? Where are the traps?

Bene looks confused at Foracor's words. "The ogrilon is Tempruk, our commander. Why would he kill Hrogar?" The goblin's friendly look is turning to skepticism.

Niles boldly steps through the curtain, shield at the ready. He stands in front of a wooden trap door with a 1' circular hole in the middle. The smell of shyte and piss rises from the hole.

Foracor in Too Deep

Foracor replies to Bene: Right, um, why would Tempruk, the ogrilon, your commander, kill Hrogar?

He looks up an sees Fingal.

Fingal! Why would Tempruk, the ogrilon, kill Hrogar?

In Too Deep

Fingal replies: Oh, um, because . . . he was . . . he was wearing a cursed ring! Yes, he was wearing a cursed ring.

Fingal holds up his ring for the Goblin to see and smiles.

Yep, it was a cursed ring. One of those will get ya every time.

This only works if the Goblin can speak common. Otherwise, the b.s. story will have to be from the mouth of Foracor. Fingal is monolinguistic.

Boddin the hobbit stifles a giggle behind Fingal and Foracor. He moves up the stairs to the landing, where Niles is looking at the out-closet. The hobbit holds his nose, then continues up the stairs to the door. He places his ear on the door to listen.

Niles gets behind Boddin.

***Albertus, Cleric, Goblin Cave***

Postioning himself, within the party, so as to see ahead, Albertus lifts his torch to shed light on the stairs and door.

Bene the charmed goblin looks at the ring, his face still skeptical. "Would ring even fit Hrogar?"

Foracor is about to answer. Then he realizes the rest of the group has gone up the stairs.

Boddin the hobbit motions for quiet. He listens at the door, then whispers: "Goblin talk beyond the door!"

In Too Deep

Foracor gives Fingal a knowing look, sighs and suddenly swings Orcslicer:

Fingal Saw it coming and attacks from behind:

Niles whispers to Boddin: "If you can open the door, I stand ready to charge and slay. Just duck out of my way!"

As the deception of Bene the goblin gets more mired, Foracor and Fingal cut their losses by cutting down the goblin where he stands.

Up the stairs Boddin the hobbit opens the door as the fighters Niles and Wulfhart charge in.



The 20' by 40' room is crowded with female goblins, toddler goblins and old infirm goblins. They're eating, farting, tossing bone dice, building castles out of human bones, and torturing small white mice. They all look up at you in surprise. There is a door in the opposite wall 40' across.

Actions!

***Albertus, Cleric, Caves***

"You stopped me from killing that beast when I had the chance, but you will not stop me now!"Rushing into the room he smites all he finds...young, old, female it does not matter. For not a one of these evil creatures will breed, mature nor kill humans again.

Eli will join on slaying any goblin no quarter given.
